Milo pov

"Plllllleeeeeeaaaaassssseeeeee" I begged

"The answer is no, i'm not coming over milo" Gwen declared over the phone making me pout

"Come on, it'll be fun I promise"

"Yeah, I know it'll be fun, for you. But not for me"

"How can you be so sure, you don't even know how many games we have at the pack house i'm sure-" I started

"Um sir-" I suddenly heard before turning my attention to the cashier in front of me "you're next" she said waving me over.

"Are you actually buying board games at the mall right now?" Gwen deadpanned as I pinned my phone to my ear with my shoulder

"..........maybe" I admitted only to hear her groan in frustration as the cashier scanned my items "that doesn't mean anything, in fact I can even buy something you like while i'm here to make sure you have a good time"

"Why the hell is this so damn important to you? If you want to hang out so badly just come over to my place"

"Because whenever I go over to your house I always lose track of time, and then iris gets worried and I than I feel guilty cause lately iris hasn't had much time to relax"

Things between me and iris were going great....... besides the constant work she has to take care of, but even though we talked about it already, iris still had a problem with me going out alone even when I tell her I was leaving beforehand. I understand that's she's only worried about my well being but i've been alone for a fairly long time, I would think that by now she would know that I could take care of myself

".......... so, your solution to get her to stop worrying about you was to run off to the mall to buy some game and invite me over to hang out...... you do realize she's probably losing her shit now that your gone right?" Gwen declared while I groaned just as the cashier finished bagging my things

"Just please Gwen come over. I want to hang out and it's been a while since you and iris have talked anyway, she misses you"

Gwen only scoffed in disbelief "I doubt it"

"......I miss you" I tried, and she was silent for a while before sighing in defeat

"Fine, but i'm bringing resident evil. You better have a ps4 in that place and not a crapbox"

"We do, but what's resident evil?" I asked curious as I made my way out of the store

"Oh, don't worry you'll find out soon enough chum for brains" she declared before hanging up

"Chum for brains....... Thant's a new one" I said to myself as I took a moment to readjust all the bags in my hands to put my phone away, only for someone to suddenly bump into me causing me to fall over

"Oh, fuck i'm sorry" the person said before quickly getting me up off the floor

"Its fine" I reassured while the boy started to pat the dust off me

"God I could've broken your phone too, I was just in such a rush I didn't see you there" he said before quickly picking up my phone and handing it to me only to stare at me with a surprised look confusing me

The boy had messy black hair and dark blue eyes what for some reason seemed bright and almost playful in a way. I also noticed that he had a few rugged features about him, not in the sense that he and a five a clock shadow or anything he just had a....... Easton charm about him

"Um...... are you ok?" I asked staring up at him confused

"O-oh yeah sorry, it's just you're pretty cute looking for a guy"
