the next morning, I woke up still in a good mood thinking about birthday party with Gwen and the others. I really didn't want to make a big deal about it but they all actaully came back just for me, it makes me happy that they care so much and now if we ever should drift apart in the future I know that they have the rings so we'll always be together in some way, I'm just lucky that the mothers pay me ten dollars an hour for every child they have

after i was done taking a bath and getting ready I put on my lotion before heading out to the kitchen till I bumped into someone standing next to my door

"iris" I said surprised while she was leaning against the wall

"hi"

"hi, is there something the matter?" I asked worried

"no just felt like walking down with you" she announced and I smiled

"I see...oh I get why you're in a good mood" I realized as we started our way down

"you do?" she asked looking at me surprised

"yup, Ryder talked to me about it yesterday, I hope you two are happy" I wished her while I chuckled a little remembering how curious she was yesterday. suddenly iris stopped and looked upset

"what's wrong?" I asked looking up at her

"I'm not dating Ryder"

"oh......so you two are remaining friends with benefits?" I asked curious for some reason making her more upset and she grabbed my shoulders

"no, me and Ryder aren't anything like that anymore more I like.... I like someone else" he announced while i became curious

"really who is it? is it someone I know? is it one of your exs?" I asked curious while she only sighed

"well its someone you know" she said before petting me and I smiled a little but noticed that she was upset over the topic

"alright, you can just tell me when you're ready. I just hope this new man can treat you right" I told her not going to accept anything less from someone interested in my friend

"he can" she said smiling down at me still playing with my hair

"alright, let's go eat then" I said before we started to make our way back down to the kitchen

"morning" we greeted when we got to the kitchen

"morning" jay, harper and Annabelle greeted while Ryder and Marcus were silent for some reason and I suddenly noticed the weird atmosphere in the room

"s-so you didn't cook today huh Marcus?" I asked trying not to focus on the awkwardness

"didn't feel like it kid" he said giving me a certain look confusing me

"ok" I said weirdly going over to the pantry and getting myself a pop tart before sitting down and noticed Tyler was making baby noises on the other side of the table

"hey Tyler, you want to play again today little guy?" I asked making him sequel and Annabelle chuckle

"I'm taking care of him today" Marcus announced getting closer to him and Annabelle

"yesterday didn't you say you were going to think about making Easton the baby sitter?" Annabelle asked confused

"I changed my mind" Marcus announced still giving me a look confusing me

"so.... what should we do today?" jay asked everyone

"why not go to the beach?" Ryder asked and I stiffened
