I ran as fast as I could through the forest not caring how tired I was or how hungry. I could eat when I finally got there

'wait iris, what's going on?' Ryder asked again

'is the pack in trouble or something?' jay asked

'Annabelle didn't say anything' Marcus said confused. the others were far behind me following me back towards Florida ever since yesterday but they had no idea why

'what happened?' harper asked confused

'......I want to finish school' I lied before cutting the connection remembering two nights ago

milo hanged up on me leaving me sitting there looking at my phone. I wanted to call him back but I knew that he definitely wouldn't answer if I did. why the hell didn't he tell me? why didn't he tell Gwen or anyone else.? why did he think he had to give stuff in return does he not know what a friend is?!?

"hey-" Ryder started

"god damn it" I cursed grabbing my back pack and running out the room

"iris" he said surprised and confused but I only kept running using my phone to call Gwen

"iris what's going-" I heard jay and the others ask I ran down stairs, but I only kept running shifting into half form when I got to the woods

"shewolf what's-" Gwen started finally picking up

"milo's birthday was yesterday"

"what are you talking about, if it was he'd-"

"no, he wouldn't and he didn't, his birthday was yesterday and he didn't tell anyone because he knew I was busy and that you were going to brazil"

"........ fuck" I heard her before noise going on in the back ground

"that stupid dumbass fish......mom dad I'm going back to Florida.......... I don't care about Stanley's new girlfriend they all look the same anyway!" I heard her shout

"how are you getting back?" I asked running still ignoring the others who were following behind me

"if I get Jeff and Hana to come along we can make some kind of craft out of our shadows, best guess is it'll take three days" she announced

"I'll be there in two I get to kick his ass first" I said before hanging up putting my phone away before shifting into my wolf carrying my bag in my mouth

honestly who the hell did he think he was trying to be considerate like that. it was just stupid just plain fucking stupid.

When we finally got near Florida it was raining hard as hell so if we stayed running nobody would see us running along the side of the roads

"you can't seriously be here for school right?" Ryder asked while we got changed in the garage finally reaching the pack but unlike the others I didn't bother with the towels not caring that I was wet

"but if that was the case there are portals all over the globe its only necessary to use the main portals in Florida once" harper announced but I ignored her and only followed milo's scent through the pack house ending up at his room and bursting through the door
