Chapter 33: Move Along Bi-

Iris pov

I woke up to the sound of my alarm before groaning but it turned off on its own making me open my eyes only to find milo holding my phone

"I got it for you" he announced already dressed for school while I stared at him

".... I love you" I said happily glad I didn't have to get out of bed

"H-huh?" he asked turning red

"I love you babe" I repeated unable to hide my smirk at his reaction

"P-please get ready so we're not late for school" he stressed before walking out of the room, but I only chuckled to myself. How'd I not notice how cute he can be

It's only been three days since I told milo he was my mate and it's been great. Yeah, I know it hasn't been that long but just having milo around now brightened up my day in a way I never thought was possible

Once I was done taking a shower and getting ready I headed downstairs to the kitchen where everyone was eating

"Hey" they all greeted making me smile a bit. Ever since milo scolded them the way he did they've all went back to normal. Looks like he has a boss bone in his body

"Just a heads up but word about Easton has started to spread through the other packs" harper informed me, but I figured it be like this eventually

"Alright.... what's the earliest that we can have a ceremony?" I asked

"I was already ahead of you, we're ready anytime you are" harper announced

"Um......ceremony?" milo asked looking confused while I went over to him as he held Tyler

"It's a welcoming ceremony for people who are outside the pack to come into it, but your ceremony is going to have to be broadcasted to the other packs, so they know who my luna is" I explained

"I can join the pack too?" he asked surprised but I couldnt blame him even I thought a mermaid joining us was weird, but now there was nothing I wanted more

"Whatever you are doesn't interfere with mind links right?" jay asked

"Um.... not that I know of" milo considered

"Then everything should be fine luna" Marcus reassured

"Alright....do I have to make a speech?" he asked looking like he didn't like the idea

"No just an introduction but you will have to make a small cut in your hand to mix your blood with mine" I informed

"O-our blood will mix?" he asked sounding nervous

"Yes, but it'll be quick I swear" I promised him only for him to nod but his heart rate sped up....and his ears were turning red?

"Awwwwwww" Annabelle and harper cooed while I turned glaring at them

"Remember how she acted whenever she saw us?" harper asked Ann

"I know and now look at her trying to comfort her mate. It's so ador-" harper started

"Shut up" I growled making her chuckle

"Its fine alpha we're only joking" Annabelle defended

"...I guess" I said before glancing at milo who was now playing with Tyler making me smile a little bit

'Can't keep your eyes off him huh?' jay asked before I shot him a glare

They were getting too comfortable for my liking

After we were done with breakfast we headed to school, milo riding with me as usual while Ryder drove ahead. He doesn't talk to me as much as he used to but I guess this was him distancing himself to get over me
