Chapter 39: Call Me _______

Iris pov

"Wait, so those fins I saw at the beach a while back were sharks?!" I exclaimed shocked, but milo only smiled

"Yes, to be honest I miss them. It's been a while since we last talked" he announced while I still stared at him shocked, but then again my mate was part fish, it shouldn't really be that surprising

After the future children talk that we had earlier we kept on eating dinner while milo told me things about himself. Some of the things he said were pretty obvious like loving the color blue, and enjoying all the music genres, but now and then he surprised me by mentioning stuff like talking with sharks and even apparently meeting a giant squid......... I'm not too sure how I feel about him talking to these random strangers, but he's been doing it all his life and his still alive, so I guess I shouldn't worry too much

"I can't wait to introduce you to them, they'll love you" milo declared

"......yeah......" I trailed off a bit worried. When it comes to things on land i'm not worried one bit, but if it's in the water even milo could kick my ass if he wanted to

'Let's not go that far' diamond chuckled making me smile a bit imagining my little milo trying to fight me. Goddess I probably just have to surrender to his cuteness

"Iris" I heard before snapping out of my daze and looking at milo "I asked if you want pie.... Are you ok?" he asked looking at me worried

"Sorry, yeah i'm ok, but i'm stuffed so let's save the pie" I lied while leaning back in my chair only half full, but that was only because I had plans

"Ok....... so... do you think this first date-" milos started

"It was perfect" I declared making him smile "but I promise once the workload calms down i'm taking you out someplace nice"

Milo scoffed a little confusing me "good luck with that, it's impossible to find a perfect spot around here" he declared while I smiled before leaning over across the table and taking his hand making him look me in the eye

"Any place where we can be together is perfect, it doesn't matter where as long as you're by my side" I declared while his cheeks started to turn pink and his heart beat sped up

"...u-um y-yes i-i...." milo trailed off flustered making me smirk "I should really clea-" he started about to pick up his plate till I stop his hand while staring him dead in the eye

"We can take care of that in the morning" I said making him look at me wide eyed seeing what I was getting at

"B-but-" he started

"You wanted this to be the perfect date, right?" I asked, and he was silent for a moment before nodding "well the dates not over yet, but I have a perfect way to end it...... That is unless you're not interested" I said raising an eyebrow at him

"......w.... what would you have in mind?" he asked fidgeting a bit lust already coming off him making me lowly growl wanting to throw the table separating up across the room, till I suddenly saw something on the table making me smirk

"Take off your shirt and get in the bed" I ordered

He looked up at me confused "wh-"

"Do it now" I lowly growled making him look at me a little scared but at the same time I saw curiosity in his eyes making both me and diamond excited

'This is my show tonight, stay out of it' I warned her not wanting to worry about her constantly fighting for control

'No promises' she said excited knowing what I had planned
