Maya's pov:

"I like you Josh" I admitted. "It's you I like"

"I like you too" He said, looking deeply into my crystal blue eyes. "And I never want you not to be in my life"

"So how 'bout we try this-"

"Boyfriend and girlfriend right now!" I cut him off.

"No" He shook his head.

"Boyfriend and girlfriend eventually!" I said and his cheeks started to heat up and turn red. "You're not saying no, you have to say something"

"I'll play the long game" He said "You live your life, I live my life, I know you're out there and, I'm out there too"

"That's your deal?" I asked him.

"That's my deal" He smiled at me. "Someday?"

"Someday"
