Ava's P. O. V

After Rick telling me and Daryl that Shane was a certified instructor, we decided to let Hunter go, after all Carl was also going and so was Rick, and the days that I've spent here I've grown to trust this man, and Daryl seems to kinda like him, so while Hunter was out with most of the other's Daryl told me he was gonna go out again and see if he can find Sophia again, so I wished him luck gave him a quick hug and kiss then he was on his way, while I walked over to Maggie who was in the chicken coop "hey Magz" I greeted her "oh hi Ava, I see you let Hunter go gun practicing with the other's" "yea I've grown to trust Rick's judgement and Daryl seemed OK with it, besides Hunter is gonna have to learn sooner or later" "true, so these walkers as you call them, you can't cure whatever it is they have?" She questions me I shake my head "no, not that we know of, all I do know is that if your bit you turn into one of them, and the only cure as Daryl says is a bullet in the head. So whatever you do DON'T get bit" she had a thoughtful look on her face as she got out of the coop with a basket half full of eggs "oh OK thanks Avie" 'weird' I thought.

Daryl got back not long after Hunter and the others got back, though I noticed Shane and Andrea weren't with them. I went up to Daryl "can I speak with you" I looked around "in private" he just nodded his head OK, so I lead him over towards our tent "OK, hun your not really gonna like what I'm gonna ask but I just gotta know, and I already know the answer.. But what is Carol to you?" He let out a frustrated sigh while running his hand through his short hair "hun, she is just a friend nothing else, we bounded after her abusive husband got bit by a walker and she had to put him down but got slightly stronger when her girl got chased in the woods by walkers, I swear hun it's nothing but friendship, though I do like it when your jealous it's kinda hot you always look at me and not to mention you always touch me" he smirked making me blush slightly "shut up" I mumbled "I'm sorry for asking you hun, it's just I thought maybe all that time we were apart your feelings for me weaken and your feelings for her were stronger I promise I will contain my jealous feelings" he just chuckled "it's OK hun you've never acted like this before, but I assure you, you got nothing to worry bout I only got eyes for you, now let's go get us some lunch I bet Hunter is hungry" I chuckled at him "he's your son course he will be hungry" I laughed out.

We were all sitting under the tree near the RV eating the squirrel Daryl had caught earlier Hunter just like his dad inhaled his bit, I was still eating mine I just couldn't get used to the taste though I appreciated it none the less "uh guys" Glenn stated standing up making everyone look up at him "so uh the barn is full of walkers" 'what' I thought this made everyone stand up Shane on the other hand looked pissed and started running towards the barn Rick calling out to him but he didn't listen, everyone else got up and we all followed them "mom, dad why would Hershel keep them things in his barn when they can hurt us?" "I duno son" Daryl replied to him before I could which I was happy bout cause I had no answer for him, I took his hand in mine as we all got outside the barn Shane was shouting at Rick while Rick was trying to tell Shane to keep his voice down "no Rick!" Shane yelled at him "this is dangerous Rick! They could easily get out then what huh?" "Look Shane I know what your saying but this is Hershel's land I'm going to have to talk Hershel into letting us kill them" Dale interrupted before Shane could answer "Hershel sees these things as sick people" this got everyone's attention "you knew about this?" Yelled Shane to Dale "yes" "and you wait till today to say anything?" Shane growled out "I thought we could survive one more night, and we did, I was going to say something, but Glenn wanted to be the one to do it" this did not go down with Shane at all if anything it made him more angry and he started yelling some more "Rick we should go, we have been talking about going to fort benning for a while now" "we can't go" Carol said "and why not?" Shane asked her "cause my daughter is still out there" she said in a soft voice this seemed to frustrate Shane even more and he ran a hand through his shaved hair "listen Carol maybe it's time we start thinking about her not being out there" now this made Daryl mad "what da hell ya talking bout I just found her doll the other dam day!" He shouted at Shane which made Hunter squeeze my hand slightly tighter and I gave him a light squeeze back "it's OK Hunt" I whispered to him Hunter was never good around people who shouted or who were fighting so what happened next really upset him Shane and Daryl charged at each other when I saw this I wasn't happy even though I knew Daryl could look after himself It didn't stop me from stepping in before I did though I lightly pushed Hunter towards Beth, she had a thing with kids, then I stormed up to the two men and pushed Shane harshly away "don't touch him" I hissed out at Shane which he in return just glared at me "piss off you redneck bitch" he growled at me this made me see red, but Daryl yelled back at him before I could and got up in his face "don't! You fucking talk to my wife like that" he shoved Shane which made him stumble back slightly Rick came in between us "calm down all of you, we are not going to do anything till I talk to Hershel" and with that Shane glared at us and stomped away and Rick made his way over to Hershel's house.
