Chapter 45

Rick encourages the group to fashion make-shift weapons. Suddenly, Gareth's men throw a tear gas canister into the car, knocking most of them out. When they come to, Gareth has Rick, Daryl, Hunter, Glenn, and Bob led to a butchering room, tied and gagged over a trough with other captives. Methodically, the captives are knocked out and their necks sliced open to bleed out, as to be able to process their bodies to feed their cannibalism. The first one to be killed is shown to be Sam, the missing survivor found by Rick and Carol, Gareth arrives just before Rick's group is processed to ask about a gun bag that he had seen Rick carrying, which Rick had buried outside of Terminus. Rick promises that he will kill Gareth with the weapons.

Ava's P. O. V (YAY)

Me, Crystal, Carol and Tyreese who is now carrying Rick's daughter Judith, are still following some tracks to Terminus. We make sure we stay out of a sight as a walker horde passes and we hear gunfire nearby, though we soon find a cabin where a man who called himself Martin and is Terminus resident, was working on launching a firework to lure away the walker horde; and I overhear him speaking via radio to someone in Terminus talking about Rick and the others 'Daryl, Hunter' I hope. Then I give Crystal a look as to say 'ya in?' Which she just nods her head back at me as in to tell me 'heck yeah' and we pounce quickly subduing Martin, then me and Carol leave Judith with Tyreese and Crystal while we head off to help free our group and I can't wait to see my husband and son again I just know they're there and I will do anything to get my boys back.

While Ava and Carol are gone, a group of walkers swarm the outside of the cabin. And when Tyreese and Crystal are distracted by the walkers, Martin grabs Judith and threatens to kill her unless Tyreese and Crystal step outside into the walker horde, unarmed. Both of them look at each other knowing they have to if they wanted Judith to live, and they do so and they both manage to survive and eliminate the walkers, then rushe inside and Crystal is quick to kill Martin, then assuring Judith is unharmed.

Ava's P. O. V

Carol and I cover ourselves in the guts of some walkers so we can blend into the approaching hoard and scout out Terminus. Seeing the guards panic at the walkers approach, I use this opportunity to ignite a propane tank, not only allowing the walkers in but to spread the fire from the explosion around 'I'm coming Dare, Hunter, and ya both better be alright' i think to myself.

The explosion Ava started, startles the butchering group, giving Rick and his allies time to overpower and kill their captors. Rick and the others set about freeing their friends and escaping the compound.

Ava's P. O. V

I decided to explore the compound on my own much to Carol's protests but I told her nothing was gonna stop me from seeing my husband and son again nothing or no one, and I end up finding and taking Rick's watch, Daryl's crossbow, and Hunter's knife, among confiscated supplies. 'I knew it' I think to myself, but I soon encounter a white elderly woman with brown eyes and red/brown hair, who refused to tell me where Rick and the others are kept, but pleads me for mercy, by telling me, she and her group were good people once but were forced to change their ways when marauders had overpowered them. But I honestly didn't give a fuck and if I was to be honest I feel nothing and I decide to be unsympathetic to Mary and I'm fuckin disgusted by Terminus' cannibalism, so after I shoot her in the leg, I let the walkers attack her without a second thought.

After escaping Terminus, Rick and his group converge where he had buried his weapons bag, planning on leading an assault on Terminus, despite the others stating that they're free and should get as much distance as possible. Rick is ready to order them to attack when Ava and Carol appear. Ava quickly runs over to Daryl and wraps her arms around him in a loving embrace while smashing her lips against his in a very passionate kiss

after a few minutes, Hunter goes up to hug his mom, the Dixon family was reunited and happy, when Rick realizes that Ava and Carol had caused the distraction that allowed them to escape, he pulled them both into an embrace.

Ava and Carol then lead them to the cabin, where Tyreese, Crystal and Judith wait for them, and Rick is elated to see his daughter is still alive, and Hunter was very happy to see Crystal, so happy in fact that the first thing they did besides hug was press their lips together in a sweet kiss.

After a moment, Rick agrees with the others to forget the attack and get far away; Abraham offers that they should continue north towards Washington D.C., where Eugene, who claims to be a member of the Human Genome Project, and knows of a counter-agent to stop the walker infection. The group agrees and as they depart, Rick alters one of the Terminus signs to read "no sanctuary".
