Third person's view.
Rick and the group try to get Maggie to Hilltop for medical attention, but find that every one of the routes that they take are blocked by the Saviors.

Meanwhile, Morgan finds Carol injured from a cut on her stomach and patches her up. While Morgan goes outside to kill a walker that is making a lot of noise, Carol flees from the building. Morgan then grabs the horse and goes out to find her again. Roman,

the Savior that survived her attack finds her and pushes her to the ground. The Savior proceeds to shoot Carol in the right arm and leg with Carol's gun, stating that she will suffer like his friends did. Morgan shows up just in time to save her, shooting and killing Roman and encounters the mysterious survivor that Rick tried to shoot previously and offers them help.

With time running out, Eugene volunteers to be bait to distract the Saviors by taking the RV by himself to a route blocked by the Saviors while the rest of the group gets Maggie to Hilltop through the woods on foot, Ava pops out of what seems to be nowhere. However, they all end up being surrounded by the Saviors and captured, along with Eugene.

Ava's P. O. V
"I'm gonna go find and kill dis bitch!" I say as I get up off the bed as fast as I can "No! Mom ya can't do dat" I hear my son Hunter say "ya jus watch me" "what about Venus?" Crystal asked me, making me stop for a while "you and Hunter, you two stay here and look after her, I'll be back" "what? Mom ya can't be serious" "oh Hunt, I'm dead fuckin serious, dat fuckin little bitch is gonna feel the wrath of a mother who had to watch one off her babies get murdered in front of her, and she is gonna wish she'd never met or fucked wit me" I say back as I get my weapons and then lean in to Venus sleeping soundly in Crystals arms "love you Hunter, be safe and protect Venus and Crystal by any means necessary, and my love for you is like the ocean" I say to him as I kiss his forehead while I hug him, I then look at Crystal "you to Cris" I tell her while giving her hug and also a kiss on her forehead, before walking out of the house and Alexandria, and into the woods 'I'm gonna get dis fuckin bitch, make her fuckin pay' I think bitterly while starting to track her, and keeping alert for any walker or people that could be around me.

I've been tracking her for a good few hours before coming across I pile of what looks to be semi fresh blood splatter "better not be hers" I say quietly to myself as I rise from my kneeling position, and continue on my way, my knife in front of me I haven't come across a walker yet, which is good but I'm bound to come across one or some sooner or later then I hear something or someone coming towards me so I take cover and wait to surprise attack them, when suddenly my eyes make contact with Maggie 'Maggie?' I think then step out from my hiding spot "Mags ya alright?" But before she can answer we are suddenly surrounded and captured by those pricks 'the saviours'

The Saviors disarm Rick's group and line them up, kneeling on the ground. Negan

appears and introduces himself to the group. He tells Rick that he is unhappy with him for killing his men while also informing the group that henceforth they will work for Negan, demanding that half of Alexandria's supplies will now belong to the Saviors. Negan states that he doesn't want to kill any of them, but in order to punish and send a message to Rick and his group, he decides to bludgeon one of Rick's members to death with a baseball bat wrapped in barbwire, which Negan calls "Lucille". When Negan says that maybe he will put Maggie out of her misery, Glenn lunges for him, but fails and Dwight kicks him back to his spot.
Unable to choose, Negan taunts the captives with a game of eeny, meeny, miny, moe before landing on his target. From the seemingly unknown victim's point-of-view, Negan tell's his men to cut out Carl's remaining eye and feed it to Rick should anyone try to stop him, as he lands on his target.
