Ava's P. O. V

Last night was hard on all of us, with Dale being attacked by a walker, especially for Andrea. It was early morning when I woke up to Daryl getting ready for the day "morning" he greets me when he sees my dark eyes look at him, looking still half asleep "morning, what's the time?" I ask him as I stretch out "it's around 6 maybe 6:30" he must have seen the look I was giving him as he then continued "I'm going out to dig Dale's grave" that made me slightly cry "hey, hey it's OK hun" he says to me while sitting back down on our blankets and wrapping his arm around my shoulders "I hate loosing people, especially good one's, people we actually need in this fucked up world we now live in" I told him while putting my head in the crook of his neck. Daryl opened his mouth to respond when we heard Rick from outside our tent "Daryl?" He called out "coming" was Daryl's reply he gave me one last worried look "go, I'll be fine, I gotta get Hunter up soon anyway, he's taking Dale's death really hard" I said "OK, I'll see you and Hunt soon" I just nodded my head.

After I had a quick shower got dressed, and put my weapons back on me in their proper places except my crossbow I left that in our tent as I had to ask Daryl if he could make me up some bolts, but until then my gun's and knife will be fine. It was just after 7 and me, Maggie, Beth, Patricia and Carol had made everyone some breakfast "I'm gonna go wake up Hunter" I tell them as I go up the stairs and into the bedroom where I saw Hunter was already up, but Carl was also in there with him "hey boy's, you're up early come on downstairs and have some breakfast before we say our final goodbye to Dale k?" I told them "OK mom" "OK Ava" I herd them say at the same time then they got off the bed and went out the door me following behind them towards the kitchen.

Hershel told the group to move our stuff into his house, he didn't want anyone else to die the way Dale did, so that's what we were doing now, I was unloading the boxes and bags from Daryl's pick up with the help of T-Dog when I heard yelling in the distance making me and T-Dog turn around to see who it was 'Hunter?' I thought I turned back to T-Dog "that's Hunter I'm gonna go see what's riled him up, I'll be back" T-Dog nodded "algood" he said as he took the box I had in my hands "thanks" I said then went towards the yelling.

"It's our fault!" I heard Hunter yell at Carl, which made him hang his head "you don't think I know that!" Carl yelled back at him after a few seconds "we.." I cut them off with a angry voice "Hunter!" I shouted at him, making the two boys turn to look at me both looking scared especially Hunter "what's gotten into you two boy's?, your friend's not enemy's now what's with the yelling? What's your fault?" I asked them in a lower but still stern voice "well?" I asked after neither said anything for a few minutes just hanging their head I sighed frustrated "Carl you better go see your parents, I want to talk to Hunter alone, and maybe you can tell them why you two were yelling at each other almost to the point of a fight, now off you go" I told him he let out a huff "OK Ava" he responded while walking back towards the house.
"Mom, do I really have to" this made me slightly angry and by the look on Hunters face he knew it to, I opened my mouth to say something til I heard Daryl call out to us "what's going on? T-Dog said you and Carl were yelling at each other I thought you guys were buddies" he said to his son as he stopped by me looking down at Hunter, it took another 2-3 minutes of Hunter saying nothing while hanging his head down before I couldn't take it anymore and groaned out in frustration "Dare, you try to get it out of him, cause he obviously doesn't wanna tell me, and I'm getting sick and tired of his silence" I said to my husband as I turned around and walked back towards the house sitting angrily on the green chair that was on the porch and pulling my pack of cigarette's out sighing again in frustration as I noticed I only had 3 left but still took one out and placed it between my lips before lighting it, after a few puffs on my smoke I looked up and realized Hunter and Daryl were no longer where I left them, but were instead walking out towards the forest. 'God I hope D has more luck with dat boy of ours' I thought watching them sit down right on the edge of the forest "I really need to get me some more smoke's" I moaned out "I'll come with you when you go" I looked up to see Maggie, I smiled up at her "thanks Mags" "soo what's wrong? I hear that Hunter and Carl were yelling at each other and was quite close to having a fight?" She asked me as she sat beside me "your guess is as good as mine, Hunter wouldn't tell me so I hope Daryl can get him to tell him what had gotten him so riled up, it's so unlike Hunter" she put her hand on my shoulder "it will be OK Av" she said I smiled back at her "thanks Mags, say wanna go on that run now?" I question her "sure, I'll just go let day know, should we take horses or a car?" "Let's take horses, as we need to save as much gas as we can" "right meet me by the stables in 10 minutes" she says as she walked inside the house, and I just continued to smoke my cigarette while rechecking I had my knife, gun and bullet's which I did, so I got up and made my way toward the stables waiting for Maggie.
