While Alexandria is locked-down against the Savior threat, Carol flees and is caught by a Savior patrol who want to use her to get into the community. She begs them not to kill her, playing the role of a terrified and weak woman. She then shoots them with a machine pistol from inside her coat sleeve, but one survives and pursues her on foot.
Rick and Morgan find the site of the incident and follow a blood trail they believe is Carol's, until Morgan sends Rick back due to his murderous reaction toward a non-hostile survivor.

Ava's P. O. V
After my little yelling match with Daryl out by where he buried Denise, we made our way back home, I went to make sure Hunter, Crystal, Venus and Levi were alright "I'll take Vee and Lee in my room" I tell them as I scoop my little girl into my arms, Hunter doing the same with hi brother. "Mom?" "Hmm?" "Are ya ok?" Hunter asked me as we made our way to mine and Daryl's bedroom "wha ya mean? I'm fine, Hunter" I give him a small smile "Cris, said she's worried bout ya and dad" I suddenly stopped and turned to look at my son, he has grown up so fast I think to myself with a smile on my face "listen to me Hunt, me and ya dad are fine akay, we just hit a little bump in the road in our relationship, BUT we're gonna be fine, promise" I say as I hug him, with his brother and sister in between us "good, cause I love ya both" was his reply "come on" I say as we go into my room. When we got in there Hunter walked up to his dad hugged him then gave him Levi "g'night, love ya both" "love ya too" me and Daryl said at the same time, when Hunter left me and Daryl talked for hours, while holding onto our twins till they feel asleep.
I woke the following morning surprised to still be wrapped in my husbands arms, smiling I snuggled closer to him while kissing his chest "morning Ava" "morning, Dare" "I'm gonna go hunt down Dwight today" my face scrunched up in worry "take someone with ya, and promise me ya be safe and come back to us" "I promise, and don't worry I will take a few people"
I hugged Daryl one more time as he left in his hunt for Dwight, "bye dad" "bye Daryl" Hunter and Crystal say at the same time I smiled they we're too cute sometimes Daryl just nodded then made his way down the stairs.
"We're gonna go out for a while mom, be back in a hour or so" Hunter tells me as I'm in the kitchen washing dishes "ok, have fun you to" I smile at them from over my shoulder "bye, bro bye, sis" he says to Venus and Levi giving them a kiss each on their foreheads before him and Crystal leave it the front door.
It's been bout half an hour since Hunter and Crystal left and I was playing with the twins on the for in the lounge "well ain't that sweet?" I froze as I heard her sickly sweet voice and a gun barrel against the back of my head "did ya miss me?" She days making her way to stand in front of me gun still pointed at my head. "Wha da fuck do ya want Jenifer?" I growl out "ohh not much, just to see you fuckin suffer though would be fuckin great" I glare at her harshly "ya know I thought that sexy husband of yours would be here" "ya fuckin crazy, ya know dat right?" She just laughed at me crazily "I'll show ya fuckin crazy ya fuckin bitch" then before I could even process what she was doing it was to late. There was a loud band and a baby screaming loudly then a window smashing 'wait I can't hear' I look next to me and couldn't believe what I was seeing "oh no please" I sob out, as I quickly get to my feet and take the 2-3 strides to my twins cots my hearing slowly getting back to normal and looking in, my heart broke as I grab Venus and a still and bloody Levi into my arms hugging them tightly then sliding to the floor my heart in so much pain and my tears blurring my vision.

Before I completely pass out u hear my front door slam open and what seems to be voices asking if I'm ok through my tears I see it's Hunter and Crystal "s-she killed him" I cried then next thing I know everything is black.

Meanwhile, Daryl hunts Dwight to avenge Denise and is followed by Glenn, Michonne and Rosita. Michonne and Glenn then split up from Rosita and Daryl and head in the opposite direction. While they are stopped and talking, a group of Saviors surrounds and captures them.

Back in Alexandria, Maggie asks Enid for help with something, which turns out to be cutting her hair. When Enid asks if Maggie likes it, she starts screaming out in pain and drops to the floor in agony. Rosita and Daryl find out that Michonne and Glenn have been captured and while they try to rescue them, Dwight and one of his Savior members sneak up behind them. Dwight saying one thing from behind Daryl before he pulls the trigger of his gun "Hi Daryl"
