A Daryl Dixon love story in which his wife Ava and son Hunter are separated from Daryl before the virus brakes out and are trying to get back to him at any cost and vice versa.

Ava's P. O. V
It's been about 2 day's since Rick killed Tomas, and we were now out front in the courtyard discussing plans to clear out the prison yard when Axel and Oscar approached us, begging us to join our group. T-Dog was the only one that wanted them to join I was 50/50 to be honest, but many within our group disagreed, and expressing their concerns Rick finally, insisted that they stick to their agreement, and they must stay in their cell block, or leave the prison.
I take Daryl's hand in mine and squeeze it lightly "we on for later? Or you busy?" I whisper to him he only smirked back at me and replied "ya know it hun, I'll come find ya, anyway I gotta go I promised Hunter we would work on the bike together" he then kissed my lips quickly than walked towards where Hunter was waiting for him.
I walked back off to the prison, when I got inside I heard Rick tell Glenn to give Axel and Oscar a week's worth of supplies and send them on their way. 'Well that's better then being sent away with nothing' I thought to myself, going to see if Carol needed any help in the kitchen I didn't really want to, but she was Daryl's friend and I promised him I would try to make a effort to be nice, so if she needed help I would do it "hey Carol, do ya need any help?" I ask her, she turned around with a slight smile "no I'm fine thank you" so I nodded then left her to whatever it was she was cooking up.

While Rick is telling Glenn about what to do with the prisoners, Axel tries to ingratiate himself with Daryl by offering to tune his motorcycle, but Daryl totally ignores him.
Meanwhile, Beth and Lori leave the safety of Cell Block C, assisting Hershel in getting comfortable with his crutches.
The group rejoices at Hershel's recovery, and Rick and Lori share warm looks from a distance, causing Lori to blush. However, the warm moment is interrupted as a group of walkers suddenly flood the courtyard.
Gunfire erupts as Rick, Daryl, Hunter and Glenn race to join the fight. Hershel and Beth lock themselves in a fenced-in entryway while Maggie, Lori, and Carl flee into the cell block.
While Ava is resealing the courtyard gate with Carol and T-Dog, he is bitten on the shoulder by a walker before he, Ava and Carol flee to safety inside the prison.
The three become trapped between two sets of walkers in a corridor, and T-Dog sacrifices himself by barreling into one set and giving room for Carol and Ava to escape.

Me and Carol couldn't believe what just happened T-Dog just ran into one of the groups of walkers to save us, "come on Carol" I sob out with tears in my eyes which were slowly falling down my cheeks, Carol was also sobbing as I grabbed her hand and we ran til we came across more walker's me and her both killing as much as we could with our knifes "Ava! In here" I hear Carol as I stab a walker in the side of it's neck and not having enough energy or strength I left my knife where it was and followed Carol into a little room where we could both just fit "thanks Carol" I huff out
