My Weakness

My mom once told me I'm her weakness and she doesn't know why

I wanted to tell her....

My weakness is her crying,
The way she prays for god to take her life away,
To end her pain.

My weakness is the way she looks at me through red, bloodshot eyes from crying night after night.

My weakness is the way she tells me she loves me,
Because I know that somehow after all my endless flaws someone loves me,
And maybe its because she's my mom,
But maybe its because she was always there for me.

My weakness is the way that she let's me hate myself,
And be tortured,
Yet I love her,
And I know she does too.

My weakness is the way she's so sweet and kind yet gets hurt endless times,
And I wonder if its a mother, daughter thing,
Because I'm the same way.

My weakness,
Is the person who birthed me.
My weakness is my mother's emotions
