Drowning In Sorrow- Poetry

The boys

* So this is me rambling, more than me actually writing a poem, why is it that most poems are about girls?*

I find all the poems about those

Girls whose worlds are falling

Apart,

How their boyfriends treat them

Like shit.

I have read poems about girls

Who fell in love and ended up

Falling apart.

But what about those boys?

They're heartbroken too, they

Have no one to turn to,

They feel pain, they suffer every

Day and night.

No one seems to notice those

Boys, because they think the

Girls

Are the weak.

But what about the

Boys that have been strong for

So

Long.

They let go, they shattered, but

Still no one paid attention.

Thinking that they will find a

Way to fix it.

Boys can be as broken as girls,

They can be heartbroken.

They can

Fall in love with that boy or girl

That they can never get.

How can we never notice them

when its always there for us to

See.

I guess we're so blinded by

All the girls, to understand they

Aren't the only ones in need.
