This is it
Another year gone in flames,
The pain it has left us with,
Nothing like we could've imagined.
The people who died,
The ones who are waiting yet to die.
All the ones pouring their hearts out between each line
As they write their suicide note
Praying for forgiveness,
Praying for the pain to end.
All the ones with tears running down their cheeks
Watching as each breath is taken away from them.
Watching as their loved ones wither away.
Another flame has sparked,
And a new year has begun
Yet the pain will drag on with us,
The memories will be imbedded in our minds
Through all the years that come.
And some... Have survived the year,
The lucky... Yet unlucky ones
Who will go through the days
Reminiscing every moment.
All the things that happened,
What's more to come?
Let the flames die
Let the years pass
No more deaths
No more sorrow
Carry on with hope in your heart
We can't live this way.
May each year bring happiness,
And take away your sorrow.
