His ghosts are haunting him,
And her demons are eating her alive.
They both have it so bad,
Yet they smile and try to brush it off like they're not sad.
They sing and laugh,
And everyone thinks they're having a blast.
But the boy is thinking of ways to kill himself,
And the girl is fighting the demons in her head.
They both don't know,
The battle the other person is fighting,
So they kiss and act like everything is alright.
They make it look so easy,
I never even noticed it was all just a lie.
