Chapter 4

Gwen's P.O.V

I don't know what came over me, I just had to kiss him. I couldn't tell him what had happened to be honest. He just started leaning in and I couldn't help myself but to put my lips on his. I felt so much between our kiss it was like fireworks. It's like our lips were made for each other and mine fit perfectly in his. At this moment I knew that I didn't have a little crush on him or that I liked him. I knew I didn't like him anymore at all. This is the boy who I had fallen in love with. I Love Draco Malfoy. From this moment on I wanted to be fully connected with him. I pulled his shirt off and I couldn't help but realize just how muscular he was and the way he kissed my neck I couldn't help but moan I just needed him so much. Soon after he pulled and I pouted because I just wanted him back on me. When I started pouting he said "You're cute when you pout" I couldn't help but blush but thankfully I don't think he saw me but I did stick my tongue out at him. He took my hand and we started walking back to our common room. As I started thinking I realized something. "Um Draco? Can I speak to you later on?" He nodded but then asked what happened to me, I couldn't tell him here because even I was trying to comprehend what had just happened between Danny and me. We finally made it back in and he told me to go get ready for the party, which is what I did. I went inside the girls' room and saw Pansy, Daphne, and Chloe, getting ready. They all looked so beautiful. "Gwen where the fuck were you? We started getting worried" Chloe said to me, I smiled at her "Yeah you have like 50 minutes to get ready for the party" Pansy said pulling me inside. "Go take a shower and get ready" I nodded and went to take a quick shower. Once I came out I picked out a pretty green dress that went just above my knees, with some black heels and a serpent bracelet. I wore a beautiful choker that I had. By the time I was doing my make up the girls were heading downstairs, "Gwen we're going downstairs, don't be too late" they said closing the door. I did a simple smoky eye and put on some light pink lip gloss. As I finished up I heard a pecking noise on my window and I turned to see my owl Midnight staring back at me with a letter in his mouth. I opened up my window and took the letter from him while petting him and giving him a treat, he flew away into the darkness and I closed my window again. I sat on my bed and looked at the letter carefully. It was in an emerald green envelope with really beautiful handwriting that said "Gwen" I opened it carefully to see a sentence

"I'll be waiting for you in back, come find me"

- Draco

I smiled to myself knowing he was waiting for me downstairs. Put the letter under my pillow and opened the door. I looked down stairs to see a lot of people, music blasting, lights, people having fun, and even fire whisky, I wonder how they even got that into the school. I started going down the steps and realized everyones' eyes were on me. I couldn't help but look away. People just started whispering and whistling at me. Once I got down I went to the food table and the party just continued after that. I remembered Draco was waiting for me in the back, I started walking there and he surely was there wearing a black suit and looking amazing. I walked up to him and his mouth hung open once he saw me but came back to his senses once I was standing in front of him. "You look beautiful Gwen" I chuckled "Well you don't look too bad yourself hot stuff" he smirked at this and put his hand around my waist and pulled me closer, I came near my ear and whispered "I'll be back in a sec with drinks babe" I smirked and nodded my head, once he left I saw Chloe run up to me with a huge smile on her face, "So that's why you were so late to ready huh?" she said wiggling her eyebrow, I laughed and shook my head, "What the fuck, no that's not true but it's not completely false either" all she did was laugh along with me. "Guess what though?" I got really excited, "Blaise and I are sort of a thing kind of" I squeaked even though I don't normally do that, "Really omg? I'm so happy for you" She nodded her head with another huge smile on her face; "Let's go check up on them shall we?" She said holding out her hand for me to take, "We shall" so I hooked my arm through hers and we walked to the drink table, as we got closer we both spotted Blaise and Draco talking, they looked like they both were in a deep conversation. As we got even closer I could make out what they were saying.

"So Malfoy, are you getting any closer to getting her in bed?" Blaise had said with a smirk

"I'm really not, there's something different about her" Draco said with a smile

I really wondered what the fuck they were talking about. I gave Chloe this look and she returned it and shrugged.

"All I know is I got her to fall for me, she kissed me though today" Draco said leaning against the table

"No way dude, you're getting closer then, just a little more then maybe you can get Gwen in bed before me and win the bet" Blaise said laughing while holding up his drink

So that's what they were talking about, it was me, I was just a bet to him them?

That's why he acted the way he did with me, he only 'cared' because he was trying to get in my pants. That foul git.

Chloe looked at me with a sad face and I let go of her arm and walked right up to Malfoy.

"You little fucking git, so that's why you acted the way you did with me, I was just a fucking bet to you? You never even cared that I was crying did you? I fucking hate you Malfoy so much"

He stared at me in shock and with his mouth open as did Blaise

He grabbed onto my arm and started speaking but I cut him off and pulled my arm away

"No Malfoy, I don't want to hear the bullshit, just... Just stay away from me I don't want to see you"

I ran away from him and out of the common room into Moaning Myrtles' bathroom, and fell to the floor crying more than I ever have. I actually loved him and all he did was play me for a stupid bet, the fucking prick, I gave him my everything and he never even felt the same, all I could think about is how I was just a bet to him, all just a bet. I heard someone come into the bathroom; thankfully Myrtle wasn't anywhere near here. "Gwen?" I looked up to see Fred standing in front of me, "Gwen what are you doing here, are you crying?" He said picking me up, I just stood there sobbing and he pulled me in a hug. I soon calmed down enough to talk. "What happened?" I wiped my tears away "Malfoy" I spat his name like venom, "That foul git" he said upset, "What are you doing here and where Gorge is?" I asked him, "Oh we're playing a prank on Ron and he was around the corner I was walking by when I heard someone other than Myrtle crying in here so I came to see who it was and I found you" I laughed slightly at the fact Ron was about to get pranked right now, "Come on, we better get going" I smiled at him and followed him out, Malfoys words were still ringing in my head

Draco's P.O.V

When Gwen came in front of us my mouth fell open, she had to have heard what Blaise and I was talking about. ""You little fucking git, so that's why you acted the way you did with me, I was just a fucking bet to you? You never even cared that I was crying did you? I fucking hate you Malfoy so much"

Ouch that hurt a lot; I didn't even know how to put my explanation into words. I grabbed her arm but she pulled away harshly

That even hurt more

"No Malfoy, I don't want to hear the bullshit, just... Just stay away from me I don't want to see you"

That broke my heart

She ran out of the common room in an instant, "Malfoy you're real nice to do that, how could you use her as a bet" Grey said glaring at me

"Shit" I whispered under my breath and followed after Gwen

I eventually lost her somewhere in the halls

I really fucked this one up, good going Draco, you lost someone you loved.

I need to find her and explain what had happened as fast as I can.
