Gwen's P.O.V
I now knew what I had to do, if he wanted to play like that I'll show him that I'll always be ten steps ahead of him.
The next morning I woke up and felt eyes were super sore so I knew I had to wear my glasses instead
I went to the bathroom and washed up. I still felt shitty but I wasn't going to let Malfoy destroy me more than he already has.
I got dressed and went downstairs to eat.
Turns out I was really hungry after all.
I walked into the Great Hall and most people were already sat and eating
I saw Chloe eating with Blaise on the end of the table away from Malfoy so that's where I went
"Hey guys" I said picking up some waffles
They looked likeIi had two heads on "why are you guys looking at me?" I said taking a mouthful bite
"Well after what happened yesterday I didn't expect you to be so, um, what's the word?" I laughed "so cheery?" I finished up, they nodded
"Well if Malfoy wants to play this game then so be it, I'll be ahead of him" I said finishing my food
"Um gross" Blaise said pointing to the end of the table
It was Malfoy and Pansy all up on each other, they both looked over to where we were and Malfoy just looked down once he saw me looking at him while Pansy stuck her tongue out at me
"You know we got here pretty early and he walked in and tried to sit with us" Chloe said shivering
"Why? What did you tell him?"
"We told him to stay away from all of us for a while, considering what was happening we let him know that we would stick with you"
I smiled "you guys are the literal best"
This may be harder than I thought
I saw Fred walk in and I waved over to him to come here
He did and sat next to me
The whole table gave us bad looks but no one dared to say a word to me, they knew I'd blow them up on the spot.
"Hey love" I said kissing Freds' cheek, Chloe sort of look uncomfortable but said nothing
"You ready for the O.W.L.S tomorrow?" he said eating some food he had
"Oh hell no, but I have to get an O on everything or else I'm screwed" I said putting my head on my hand
"I don't think any of you will have to worry about the exams tomorrow" he replied "and why's that?" Blaise asked raising his eyebrow
"Oh well George and I wanted to leave our final year with a bang" he said chuckling
"What does that even mean?" I said sternly
"Oh you'll just have to wait and see, just don't be too nervous about the exams, I have to go now my dear but I'll catch up real soon" he said getting up kissing me and walking out
"What was that about" Chloe said
"I honestly can't even figure that one out" I finished my pumpkin juice and got up as well
