(A/N: Hi. I'm back. I know I haven't updated in like four weeks, sorry ): But college applications is a pain in the ass. But I have a little bit of a break now and so I'm writing as much as I could. Gwen's P.O.V

It was quiet as Professor Slughorn was explaining about the class and asking us what each potion was called or if we knew what it did.

I of course exceeding in potions shot my hand up to answer but of course Granger beat me to it.

"Ah yes, Ms.?" Slughorn said picking her

"Granger sir" She replied

I fake coughed and said "Traitor" to which the Slytherins snickered at

As she was explaining the potions I heard shuffling in the back and turned around to see Weasley and Potter fighting over the books. They came in a little bit ago even though I'm pretty sure neither of them had the grades to be in this class in the first place.

I turned back around rolling my eyes "Dipsticks" Draco whispered besides me

"And this is Amortentia the most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell differently to each person according to what attracts them"

This made me very curious as to what I would smell. So I started walking closer to it and then it hit me

I smelled expensive cologne, fresh parchment, and green apples with mint

I felt an arm pull me back before I walked too far ahead and saw it was Draco

"Bet you smelled me huh?" he said with his lips almost touching my neck sending shivers down my back

Slughorn started talking about the potion behind me and it was liquid luck.

I felt Draco tense next to me when he noticed it too.

If you can brew the Living Death potion you win the tiny vial of the liquid luck.

I was determined to get that vial as I really needed it with my mission.

So we all go started and me being smart I waited until everyone had gotten their ingredients before I got mine.

I followed the instructions in the book but it just wasn't turning out right and I couldn't understand why. I was the best potions student.

I looked over and even saw Granger struggling. But not Potter, which was odd considering he sucked at this subject.

Soon enough many had blew their potions up, some were leaking, and I think Nevilles turned into goop.

But alas Potter had won the vile by making the best brew of the potion. I saw him looking down at his book and it seemed super old, it was even worn out.

He gladly accepted the vial and none of us Slytherins liked that.

"Bloody Potter, always getting what he wants" Draco said besides me and I held his hand but he pulled it back and I gave him a questioning look.

I left the classroom angry. There was something wrong and I could feel it. Potter cheated. I just had to find out how.

I bumped into Chloe since I wasn't looking where I was going.

"Oh shit sorry, I was lost in my thoughts" I said picking up my books

"It's cool, you want to come to lunch with Blaise and I, it looks like you could use a break" she said helping me up
