Gwen's P.O.V
It was early in the morning and I haven't been able to sleep at all since that night
I keep getting these horrid flashbacks everytime I even close my eyes to get some rest
I was staring at the ceiling when I heard a knock at the my door
We were back home from Malfoy Manor and I never thought I'd miss being back home this much
I hadn't even bothered to answer the door until the person on the other side knocked harder and louder
"Who is it?" I asked annoyed
"Me stupid" the person replied, it was Danny
"Come in" I said sitting up at this point, he opened the door and had the biggest smile on his face while holding something behind his back
"What are you smiling so hard about?"
He came and sat down next to me and then pulled out whatever was behind him
"Happy Birthday!" He shouted while popping some confetti
I rolled my eyes and fell back onto my bed
"Come on get up I need to show you something" He said tugging me up, I sighed but followed him downstairs to see my mother and father smiling holding a cake with a banner that says "Happy Birthday Gwendolyn"
I laughed and hugged them, "You know you guys didn't have to do all this" I said sitting at the table with them
"We know, but after all the things that are going on we thought it'd be nice to shed some positivity you know?" Mother said smiling
For once after two weeks since that night I felt a lot better, happy even
We were laughing and recalling memories of when Danny and I were younger and how hard it was for them to control a set of twins that were mischievous
Just then someone rang the doorbell and we all immediately shut our mouths
It's like that doorbell was the most scariest thing in the world
"I'll go get it" mother said getting up, we hadn't said a word until mother called back to us
"Gwendolyn! It's for you, I think you should come downstairs" she said
"For me?" I questioned to myself, who could honestly be bothered with me right now of all times
As I headed down mother went back up looking at me
Soon enough I had seen who it was I wanted to turn right back around and go back to my room
"Draco" I said lowly while cautiously walking to the door
"Hey" he said fumbling with his fingers
"What are you doing here?" I asked now holding the door
"I know it's your birthday today and um so I thought I'd come see you" he said lowly
I stayed quiet, he was the last person I'd think to come visit me today or even care
"Can we talk outside please?" He said now looking me in the eyes, I was stuck on the fence wondering what I should do
