I sincerely want to apologize first, after summer break had gone I started college and life had become so hard that it led me to having no motivation, I felt like I was being trapped inside a cage growing up is no joke, but it's a new year, I'm determined not to let my goals slip. Gwen's P.O.V
As they trio were talking to people I started looking around and then all of a sudden I see Danny in the corner of the room looking up
"Danny!" I practically scream and start running towards him
"Gwen?! What the fuck" He says and I gave him the biggest hug ever
Never in my life have I ever been so excited to see my twin brother
"What the hell happened to you, why'd you leave with them without even thinking about the consequences?" He asked seriously letting me go
"I had to go, I couldn't stay with them anymore, I didn't feel right and I had given it all the thoughts, after I saw Draco I knew I couldn't sit there any longer" I said looking at him
"Is mum and dad okay? I know everyone must've been mad, did I hurt anyone?" I asked cringing about to cry
"They weren't mad, they were scared for you Gwen. Dad knew that Voldemort would find out what you did and you'd be a target" Danny said looking away from me
He paused for a moment before continuing on
"I took all the blame, I told everyone how it was my job to keep you from coming out and I slipped up and didn't watch you close enough"
My heart dropped hearing what he was saying
"He almost killed me and for a few moments I was totally fine with that- if my life meant sparing everyone else's I was gladly going to die but that didn't happen" He said
I was crying now
"They tortured me for days, mum and dad couldn't do anything, and I didn't blame them for not helping me, it would've made everything worse. Voldemort thought killing me was too easy so instead they tortured me for you"
I burst out crying
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for all this, please accept my apology, I'm fucking sorry Danny"
He hugged me super tight and helped me calm down
"It's okay, you got to escape and that's all that matters, I was afraid there might've been a chance he would have caught you"
"We were very careful not to make the same mistake" I said looking at the trio
"It doesn't matter now though you and I are both here and we're fighting this together now, I promise. We'll win this time for our family ... together" Danny said smiling
With that we heard Harry speak out loud
I turn around and noticed the entire room staring at Harry for instructions
"There's something we need to find, something that's hidden in the castle" He said hesitantly
"Alright, what is it?" Neville asked
"We don't know" Harry said awkwardly
"Alright, where is it?" He asked
"We don't know that either... we realize that's not much to go on" Harry said
