I've been catching up on these chapters since I've had a sudden urge to write again, I guess all my creativity has come back to me since I have a little bit of free time. Gwen's P.O.V

I boarded the train and walked with Danny into an empty cart

I still didn't want to be near anyone nor was I used to it anymore

Most people stayed back at Hogwarts so it didn't really matter

"What do you think is gonna happen when we go back home?" Danny asked looking out the window

"I don't know, everything is just a blur to me, I know I'm gonna get scolded for not finishing my mission yet, so I'm not looking forward to that at all" the sky was truly beautiful and for a moment I forgot what it felt like to see the outdoors

Soon enough we arrived to the station and had seen our mother

"Hi loves" she greeted with the biggest smile

We arrived back home and it was just the beginning of the most nerve wrecking week of my life

Just as we arrived home we walked through the doors and saw the Malfoy's alongwith Bellatrix Lestrange

"Finally you two are back, now we may get down to business" Lucious said

I looked at Danny, annoyed already, it was such a long meeting

"Draco had stayed over at Hogwarts to finish up some assignments so he will not be attending us this time" Narcissa had said

"I have a pretty little plan from the Dark Lord himself actually" Bellatrix said

"What is it this time Bella?" Narcissa spoke sarcastically

"I will be burning down the Weasley home tonight"

My eyes widened and I was about to reject but before I said another word my mother spoke up

"And exactly what will that accomplish?" She asked raising her brows

"Don't question the Dark Lord's orders. The Potter boy is staying over for the bit, thought I'd have a little fun before the actual fun begins" she said laughing loudly, she truly looked like a insane person

I was never afraid of her, nothing ever frightened me about her no matter how much she tried

She was more of an insane person to me who had no self control

And so that night they set out on a mission to which unfortunately Danny was assigned to as well

My mother had pulled us aside and explained everything that was going to happen that night

"Listen up you two, tonight Bellatrix, Greyback, along with some other death eaters will burn down the Weasley home, Danny you're going along with them, you don't have to be seen just have to make sure they apparate away fast enough"

Danny tried to protest but mother wasn't having it

I felt a tinge in my heart

I know we all had issues after everything that happened but at some point I realized why Harry would have an issue with us being around them, if I was in his position I'd have trouble trusting people too

He just wants to protect his friends and that's understandable

I truly felt so much pain from what was about to happen tonight
