Chapter 8

(A/N: Yes I know I haven't updated in so long, and I honestly don't have any excuse besides the fact I've been very stressed and what not but I'm back and I also wanted to let everyone know that I also have this story up on quotev.com if you wanted to read it there, it's not that popular on there so that's why I decided to post it up on here. Gwen's P.O.V

Draco quickly got dressed and he led me downstairs into the dining room. I saw that everyone was already seated and we got the looks alright. He came from behind me and pulled out my chair and I took the seat. Once he had pushed me inside he went around to his seat and dinner had started.

5 Minutes into eating

My mum had looked at me and I stopped eating. "How come both of you were 30 minutes late dear?" I got nervous and I saw the smirk on Danny's face, I glared back at him and didn't know how to respond to the question until Draco had spoken up. "Oh um I went to go wake her up and she wasn't in her room so I realized that she had probably gotten lost coming down so I had to look for her and I eventually found her but by the time I did we were 30 minutes late, I apologize for keeping everyone waiting" to which my dimwit of a brother started laughing at. My parents looked at his parents and all they did was nod at each other how odd I thought.

I was the first one done so I stood up and let the house elves take my plate. "I'm very tired right now so may I please be excused?" I said calmly. "Well of course dear but I don't want you getting lost again so why don't you take her upstairs Draco" Narcissa said and she turned to Draco. I nodded "Well goodnight and thank you so much for dinner" I said kissing my mums cheek and biding them farewell while following Draco up the stairs. We soon enough got to my room and I walked inside looking back to see if he was going to come in "wait here I'm coming right back" with that he went down the hall into his room. I lay down on my bed and looked out my window into the night sky. I heard the door close and someone sitting down on my bed. "Gwen I know you already saw it but I still wrapped it up for you" I sat up and looked at the person who gave me butterflies every time I looked at him. "Draco you know you didn't have to get me anything right?" I said smiling at him, he gave me a smile in return, a smile that I knew was true, a smile that was so real and showed his happiness. "I wanted to get you something love" he said passing me the gifts. I took them and opened them up to see the ring and the necklace http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=210020206 

I smiled and was going to put it on until he stopped me. "Here let me" with that he took it out of my hands and turned me around and I held my hair up so he can put on the necklace as he did I stared at it on my chest and once he was done I went to the mirror and looked at it on.

It was so beautiful I couldn't stop looking at it. Once I turned around I saw Draco on one knee holding up the ring. I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "May I have the honor of putting this ring on a very special lady?" I laughed and nodded my head and held out my hand for him to take. He slid the ring on my ring finger and stood up. Once he did I couldn't help but stare into those beautiful eyes that hypnotized me. I put both my hands onto his cheeks and smiled at him, Draco leaned onto one of my hands before taking me by the waist and pulling me even closer. I tip toed and kissed him ever so gently on his rosy lips and although it was a gentle kiss it was so full of passion. But that soon came to an end when I heard a pecking noise come from my window to see my owl Cassie staring back at me. I went and opened and untied the letter from her leg after I gave her a treat and let her come inside for some warmth. "Who's is from?" Draco said coming behind me, "It's from my best friend Chloe" I said happily. "The Slytherin?" he asked almost shocked, "yep that's her" I said popping the 'p' in 'yep' I sat back down onto my bed and opened the letter.

To Gwen,

I missed you so much Gwenny! I was starting to think you forgot about considering you didn't write to me in a while. But anyways I really hope things are going good with Malfoy, if he does anything else to you I'll make sure my foot is down his fucking mouth! But I'm currently staying with Weasley's you should come visit all of us tomorrow! We can catch up on a lot of things. But I'm sure they wouldn't mind having you over, let me know if you're coming or not as soon as you get this letter, I hope you're enjoying your time at the Malfoys!

I laughed at her reply but decided to reply tomorrow morning as I still had to ask my parents permission to still be able to go. "What'd she write in it anyways?" he asked laying back. "I don't see how that's any of your business Draco" I said chuckling. "You're right it's not any of my business but considering it's this late at night it had to be something important if she sent the letter this late" Dammit he was right. "Well she just asked me to go over somewhere with her and to let her know if I could come or not" I said yawning.

"Well reply to her in the morning seems like you need sleep about now" took the letter form me and placed it on my table and pulled the blanket over me making sure I was alright. "Goodnight Draco sleep well" I said in a low voice

"Goodnight princess" he said and kissed my forehead while leaving the room and turning off my light.
