Gwen's P.O.V
I had awoken to someone grabbing my hand and jumped up
I heard a chuckle and looked over to see Draco was finally awake
"How are you feeling?" I said rushing up to him and sitting on his bed
"Sore, definitely not my best" he said smiling at me
"I was so worried about you, I thought you-" I couldn't bring myself to finish the words
He held my hand tighter and smiled at me
"I missed you so fucking much" he said and my heart started beating in my chest so hard
"Well good, cause you have no idea how much persuasion I had to do with madam Pomfrey to let me stay these two days" I said chuckling
"Potter knocked me out for two days?" he asked bewildered
"He almost killed you Draco" I said in a whisper
Then it went silent
I started playing his his fingers and analyzing them closer
They were so thin but still somehow just as soft as before
"Are you able to sit up?" I asked him and he winced in pain but sat up soon
I looked straight into his eyes trying to find an answer, searching for a reason why he left me all alone when I needed someone the most, he said I'd never be alone and yet here we were all year, I had to keep my shit together, without him being there for me
His eyes were so empty with pain filled into them
"What" he said looking away from me
"Why, why did you leave me alone? Why did you leave me and distant yourself?" I said desperately
"It's none of your business" he said in a low whisper
"It is my business just before this summer started, do you remember what you had promised me?" I said raising my voice
"Well I had other, more important matters to take care of" he sneered at me
"Let me help you then, you didn't have to shut me out, I could've been there for you" I said standing up
"No. I was chosen for this. You don't know what's going on nor will you ever understand. I don't need your help, I don't need anyone's help, I can do this on my own" He yelled at me
I was so confused, what was he talking about
"Chosen for what? Explain it to me, maybe then I'll understand it, please Draco don't shut me out" I pleaded with him holding his hand
He pulled his hand back and sneered at me, I felt myself almost crying in front of him
"After everything I've given up for you, all the people I've lost in my life, risking my life, and even losing almost everything else good in my life for you, you still won't even let me in? How dare you treat me like this?" I yelled at him getting up
"Maybe if you'd stop meddling in my business then it wouldn't pain you now would it?" he said looking out the window
I sniffed and walked away, how could he?
