Gwen's P.O.V
"The snake, it's the last one, she's the last horcrux" Harry said breathing heavily
"Look inside him Harry, find out where he is and we'll find out where the snake is, we can end this, tonight" Ron said kneeling by us
I looked at Harry nodding my head
While we were running down the stairs there were Death Eaters all over the place, I've never had to throw so many spells in my life
Going through the courtyard made me wanna throw up even more
It was a full on war going on, huge trolls, spiders, everyone was fighting for their lives right now
As we came into the hallway I saw one of the most horrid things
It was Greyback eating Lavender Brown
"No!" I screamed then throwing a spell at it
So many people were dying, so many were already dead, my classmates, I didn't know who was alive anymore
My heart ached for them, for their families
We had had to keep going though
I had to keep pushing myself to not fall onto my knees
Finally we made it to the lake house
I almost had a heart attack when I noticed a familiar voice
It was Severus, talking to Voldemort
My hand immediately shot up to my neck where the locket he gave me was
All of a sudden my breath was going short and I could feel my heart going a million miles a second
I looked over at Harry while peeking through the window
I was scared for him, I held Harry's hand hoping nothing was going to happen to him
"Tonight when the boy comes it will not fail you, I'm sure of it" He said as confident as he could
I was shaking by now
"Where does it's true loyalty lie?" Voldemort asked him
"With you my lord" He replied
They were talking about the Elder Wand
My mind was racing all over the place, I felt my stomach drop, it was as if my body was reacting on it's own
"The Elder wand belongs to the wizard who killed it's last owner" Voldemort said
"You killed Dumbledore Severus" He said
Tears were brimming my eyes
Harry was holding me so tightly however I couldn't feel it
I started sobbing quietly
"You've been a good and faithful servant Severus, but only I can live forever"
I knew what that meant, I knew what was going to happen
That's when it happened, I heard him fall back
