Gwen's P.O.V
It's been months so far with practicing in the room of requirements and trying to study for the OWLS, thankfully I have Chloe and Hermione to help and study with me
I've been spending so much time with D.A that Draco and I barely had any time together since Christmas break
But then again I can see how busy he is normally regardless I although see this, never ask him about it
Today was probably the last practice before all of us 5th years take OWLS so Harry thought it's be a great idea to try and practice the potronus charm to which everyone got excited about
Danny and I have been practicing together and were always partners occasionally switch because he wants to practice with Hermione while I chose Fred
Today was one of those days where we'd let two people go into the middle and see how well they perform they're charm, Danny and Hermione were up first
Hermione being the brilliant witch had gotten her patornous on the first go which happened to be an otter it was so cute
Danny wasn't able to produce his on the first go, or the second, or the third, but on the fourth go he finally produced it, his was a boar
The boar was running all over the room and once it came to me it had circled me before turning into nothing
I looked at Danny and smiled "What memory did you think of?" I asked him walking into the middle with Fred
"At first I was thinking of small but happy memories with like Hermione, or me getting into Gryffindor, even my first time coming into Hogwarts but then I thought about the time when before break when all of us were laughing at the Weasleys place during break, I felt a lot of love and happiness that day" we all smiled and looked at each other
"Alright Fred, Gwen, you're turn to go up" Ron said backing into the crowd
"I want to go first" I said to Fred "After you my lady" he bowed in response
I tried the same memory as Danny to which failed, it was a happy memory of mine but I must have something happier, I tried again for my second try I produced a gust of light but not a protronus, think about a happier memory, I thought to myself
Finally I think back to the memory with Draco giving me the ring as present and us saying "I love you" for the first time to each other, I remembered how much love and felt that moment and how big of a smile I had on my face when it came to Draco
"Expecto Patronum" I said lowly but loud enough for everyone hear
A huge light appeared almost blinding myself to which a beautiful fox appeared and hopped around the entire room, landing on peoples head making them laugh then coming up to me and hugging my leg
Fred hugged me from behind and laughed "I'm proud of you" I laughed as well
Just then a loud bang was heard, another one came except this time was louder with the mirrors shaking on the walls and dust falling from the roof
