Juuzou stared at the donuts one of the investigator bought for him. He take a bite. The sweet strawberry entered his taste buds. He sighed in satisfaction. This is the food they're always eating. Juuzou remembered her smile whenever he gave her donuts. Her sweet and thankful smile. Juuzou remembered how she puffed her cheeks whenever she is annoyed and tired. Juuzou remembered it all. He stopped thinking of her. He does not love her.

"Guess I gotta leave.." Juuzou said to himself. He grab the now empty box of donuts. He stared at it then put it back in the table. He saw the glare of one of the investigators. Juuzou smiled at him. Creepily.

When Juuzou is finished fixing his things, he started to leave the headquarters. It's been 3 days since the Dragon extermination. It's been three days that Onikisu-chan disappeared.

Juuzou is walking humming a song to himself. But now, the song is sad unlike the normal cheery song he always hum. He doesn't care about her. She is nothing. Juuzou have fun with her. Playing with her. He hopes that he got to kill her.

Juuzou remembers the time when Onikisu was carried away by the mysterious ghoul. He met him before. The one who took away Onikisu-chan. He knows that Onikisu will be safe with him. He doesn't know why he let go of them at the day of the battle. All he know is that he wanted Onikisu to be safe so he easily let them escape.

Juuzou remembered Onikisu's face when he asked for any last words. The way she said the words I love you with sincerity. The way her face really shows love to him. Juuzou knew nothing of love but seeing Onikisu's face, he know that the girl really love him.

Juuzou remembers it all...

And that is the only thing he can do...

Juuzou stopped in front of the door of his apartment. He entered. He forgot to lock it.

He inhaled the smell of the room andher scent still lingers. Slowly, he walk towards her room. He hold the knob. He can feel his hands shaking. As he entered, the room is still the same as the day they left for the extermination. The bed neatly made, the smell of the strawberry cologne she always spray at the room marking her territory. 'So everybody will know that someone stays in here and lives here. So everyone will know you have a girlfriend' he remembered Onikisu says jokingly. By chance, her cologne is resting on the bed. Juuzou grabbed it and smelled it. The last time Onikisu used it is at the day of the extermination.

The extermination...

He knew all along. Ever since Onikisu was partnered with him. Juuzou knows that Onikisu is part human, part ghoul which he didn't know was possible. The CCG says to make her fall in love with him. At first, Juuzou doesn't agree. He knows nothing of love. And he doesn't want to waste his time making a girl fall in love with him which is also hard because of his girlish looks and his psychotic attitude. But in the end he agreed. There is no harm in trying to have some fun.

"Ummm Good Morning Investigator Juuzou. Pleased to meet you" is what she first said the first time they met. Onyx. Her eyes are almost the color of onyx. Maybe that is why her name is Onikisu.Juuzou remembered staring at her eyes which held a deep abyss. Her eyes also shows loneliness. You can tell by the way she stares. An abyss of loneliness. Her hair was tied in a fishtail. She doesn't look mortified with him. Which is a surprise to Juuzou. When people first time saw him, they always asks him if he is a girl or a boy and sometimes shoot him suspicious glance and frown at his stitches.
