(F/n)'s POVNico, Eric, and I stared in awe at Cynosura. She then smiled sweetly at us and said, "I deeply apologize for Cancer's behavior. He has been waiting for a millennia for the appearance of a Hera demigod."
"I-It's o-okay..." I stuttered out shyly. Cynosura then chuckled at my shyness and walked up to me. She gently placed her hand on my chin and lifted it up, so that I was face to face with the North Star. Cynosura whispered to me, "Ah...you have your mother's beauty, (F/n)."
I blushed a bit at what she said and swore that I heard Nico and Erik growling with jealously. Cynosura removed her hand from her chin. I then asked her, "How do you know my name...Lady Cynosura?"
"That is because I have been waiting for you three," answered the North Star.
"Well if you've been waiting for us, then why didn't you come to us first?" Nico asked with sass. Eric suddenly hit him on the head with his spear and yelled, "Nico, be nice! We're in the presence of the North Star! Show some respect to the deity!"
"Shut it, Momma's boy!" Nico hissed back in retaliation.
"Make me, Skull Brain!" Eric retaliated with venom. I sighed in annoyance and walked over to the boys. Standing between them as a wall, I karate-chopped both of them on the head. They recoiled in pain and held their hands to their heads in pain. I then hissed, "Both of you, stop acting like five year olds!"
"But he started it!" they whined to me in unison. I glared at both of them and growled lowly, "Zip it, both of you. NOW!"
"Yes ma'm..." Eric and Nico mumbled with shame. I sighed to myself and refocused my attention on Cynosura. She was giggling to herself at the scene that unfolded. Cynosura then walked up to us and said, "I need to borrow Miss. (F/n) for a minute, Mr. Nico and Mr. Eric, if that's okay?"
"Of course you can!" Eric answered the deity.
"Sure whatever," was a typical Nico response he used to answer Cynosura's question.
"We'll be back in a minute," said Cynosura with a smile. She snapped her fingers and both of us were suddenly engulfed in a blast of blue light. I let out a scream and closed my eyes tightly as we were traveling fast than the speed of light. Suddenly I heard Cynosura say to me, "You can open your eyes now, (F/n)."
My eyes slowly fluttered and what I saw made my mouth drop to the ground in awe. We were inside a star. The North Star to be exact. I heard Cynosura chuckle to me, "It seems that you like my home."
I nodded, dumbstruck at the thought and sight of standing inside a star. Many people didn't know, but I was OBSESSED with space. I then looked Cynosura and asked, "Why have you brought me here?"
"For information on how to conceal Typhon's anger and some relationship advice," answered Cynosura with a motherly smile. I mentally sweat-dropped at what she said about relationship advice. This was going to be interesting.
"Before I became the embodiment of the North Star, I was one of many who nursed the infant Zeus and hid him away from his father Kronos," Cynosura started her explanation. She paused a second and continued, "Forgotten in textbooks and in history, there was a tool I used to mask the location of Zeus. Its name was Krymméni Máska. The tool has been scattered across America since the arrival of the gods in Western Civilization."
"How many parts are there to repair Krymméni Máska?" I asked the North Star's embodiment.
"Three parts that can only be placed back together with the help of mysterious hands. Hands that hide or hid from the world for quite some time," softly answered Cynosura. She then snapped her fingers and a large piece of parchment appeared in my hands. The parchment had a faded map on it.
"This will should you the first piece. Once you find the first piece, it will show you the location of the second piece, and so on," explained Cynosura to me. I nodded and rolled up the map before placing it in my bag.
"Now for my advice," she said to me, causing me to blush a bit.
"The time will come where you have to choose one of them. Both such opposites that they rival the poles in magnetism;" said Cynosura. I chuckled at the comment she made on Eric's and Nico's personalities. Suddenly Cynosura placed her hands on my shoulders and whispered, "The best decision is when the heart and brain both agree on it."
I nodded and thanked her. Cynosura smiled at me once more before snapping her fingers. I was outside the science center to see Eric and Nico covered in lots of scratches, blood, and large bruises. Immediately, I screamed, "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!"
"Long story..." they both grumbled. I face-palmed at the boys and grabbed them each by the sleeves of their shirts. Dragging Eric and Nico behind me, I led them over to a secluded area. I released my grip on both of them and hissed, "Before I patch you two up, I want an explanation!"
"Fine..." they grumbled once again in unison. Oh this was going to be very very interesting to hear.
(A/n: The Krymméni Máska is a fake thing I made up for this story! It's not found in any Greek myths! Just in case anyone was wondering! Hope you all are enjoying the fanfic! XOXOXO Brid)
