I woke up in a bed. I sat up and looked around.

The room was painted red with all white furniture. it was rather nice.

I was entangled in bed sheets, naked. I started panicking.

I wasn't as weak as before, but I was still scared.

I could choose a power now, so I picked healing.

I put my hand on my leg and let the power do the work. I screamed out in pain when I heard and felt another 'snap' in my leg then the pain went away. I went to stand up and fell to the floor. my leg didn't heal properly. it didn't hurt anymore, but the limp didn't go away. I guess the bone couldn't be healed the way it was anymore.

I limped to the bathroom door just across from the bed and knocked, hoping to see that no one was in there.

Blake opened the door with nothing but a towel on. his hair was wet. he smiled at me and I stumbled back and hit the footboard of the bed with my waist.

He gave me a confused look and started to walk closer slowly.

I noticed he had scars all over him from the fights I put up before.

Our faces were centimetres apart when he grabbed my hands and held them tight by his waist.

"Good morning." Blake said smiling.

I shoved him away from me and backed up against the wall.

He gave me another confused look. he walked up closer and grabbed my waist. I slapped him as hard as I could and ran to the door.

When I got it open, Blake slammed it shut in my face and turned me around to face him.

I lifted my hand up again to slap him, but my hand stopped in mid air. I looked at my hand in disbelief, then at Blake to see a smirk plastered on his face.

"The perks of having a power sweetheart." Blake whispered.

Liam had told me before that the leaders of every clan had the same power. to control elements, as well as someone's body.

Fuck my life at this point.

I ignored the fact that I was naked because he's most defiantly the one that took my clothes.

"What did you do to me?"

My jaw hardened and my eyes flashed to light blue and glowed in fear and anger.

"Nothing like you think. I just figured that you'd be more comfortable sleeping that way." Blake pointed to the pile of clothes sitting on the floor.

I looked at him and saw that he wasn't lying. I just stayed silent as Blake walked back into the bathroom and closed the door.

I sat on the edge of the bed wrapped in the sheets thinking about how I can escape without putting up a fierce fight.

Blake walked out of the bathroom in boxers and searched through the drawers. he pulled out a grey t-shirt and black sweatpants. he threw them at me and opened the bathroom door.

With the sheets still wrapped around me, I quietly walked in and locked the door with the clothes in my hand.

I sat the clothes on the counter and put my hands on the mirror and slowly lifted my head to look at myself.

I couldn't stop looking away from all the imperfections. the cuts and bruises. the tiredness in my face and the bags under my eyes say that I haven't slept in decades. which was mostly true.

I sighed and turned on the water in the shower and made sure it was hot.

I slowly slid off the sheets and stepped in. when that water hit my body, my muscles relaxed and I stood there enjoying the water while I still could.

I washed all the dirt off and put on the clothes Blake gave me.

I stepped out if the bathroom to find Blake sitting at the edge if the bed waiting for me.

He looked at me and smirked.

I opened the door to the bedroom and walked down the hall, with Blake following after me to see what I was doing.

The hallway ended into the living room and kitchen. everything changed. this wasn't the house I was in before.

I stopped in my tracks when I saw a familiar figure standing by the front door.

Heath.
