Harmony's P.O.V
I took a deep breath and tried to calm down my frenetic heartbeat, it was going to be okay, this was going to be okay.
Nobody knew me here, nobody knew about me so that for once was great, this was what I needed, a fresh start.
I stared at myself in the mirror, I had simple black jeans, a grey knitted sweater that had a black heart in the middle, grey vans, a grey knitted hat; I had fixed my ginger hair into a side braid and gave a small sigh, there was nothing else I could do to improve my situation. I sneaked downstairs quickly grabbing my backpack and placed on my black sunglasses before stepping outside.
Ten minutes waiting outside for the bus and I soon found myself standing outside of the Academy, this was it, I had worked my butt off to run away from that old town, I had managed to get a scholarship but I knew that soon enough the truth would follow me, I would just try to stay low in the radar and try to not call attention on anything, I think I could pull that off after all I was going on being invisible.
"Will you look at you, pretending to be all shy and lost." A voice said next to me.
I looked up to meet a very tall guy.
"What?" I asked him confused.
"Now take off those glasses, I'm pretty sure there are some cute eyes behind them." The guy said as he slipped off my glasses and smiled at me, his dark brown eyes shinned with happiness and he had nice dimples.
"Are you? Are you flirting with me?" I asked him as my voice shook.
He looked at me, to be honest he stared at me blankly before he started to chuckle.
"You wish baby girl, no I'm here to be your savior." He said with a wink as he sung his arm around my shoulders.
I slightly pulled away and looked up meeting his gaze.
"Who are you?" I asked him as I got my shades back.
"I'm Wade, the almighty powerful and incredibly handsome Wade." He said making me snort in response.
"Oh boy." I said as I shook my head.
"Now where a you headed pretty girl?" Wade asked me as he swung his arm around my shoulders again.
"Why do you want to know?" I asked him suspicious.
He laughed at my reaction.
"You little angel have just gain a special friend here, from now on I am going to be your protector." Wade said with a small wink before he walked me to the entrance of the Academy.
"Can you stop doing that?" Wade said scolding me as he tried to take off my shades again.
"You stop trying to do that!" I said as I slapped his hand away.
"You know instead of hiding yourself you are gaining more attention by doing this." Wade told me.
I stared at him blankly.
"What do you mean? I'm just sitting here outside wearing some shades, how is that drawing attention?" I asked him confused.
"Please baby girl you have a knitted hat that covers most of your head, your dark shades on and most of the sweater covers you, not to mention the fact that you are constantly tugging on your sleeves trying to hide your hands." Wade pointed out.
"I'm just nervous okay? And stop calling me baby girl, that is so obnoxious." I said as I glared at him.
Wade looked at me smirking before he licked his lips and leaned on the table getting closer to me.
