"What's wrong sweet cheeks, why are you so gloomy?" Lucas asked as we exit my mom's literature class, it had been so hectic today, my mom had been tough on all of us today with the crazy paperwork and the several assignments despite us having finals next week, something was going on with my mum, she was very distant and in a constant foul mood.

"I got this huge assignment got physics class, it's due on Monday so I only have the weekend to work on it." I said as I nearly dragged my feet outside, I was so tired yet my shift in the café started in forty minutes, but this was all so I could finally have my own car.

"But didn't you get paired with Harmony?" Lucas asked me and I nodded, I had slightly forgotten about that.

"You're right but we only have two days to work on it." I told him and with the work in the café and the dance academy I hardly had any free time.

"You'll be fine, Harmony is madly brilliant, we got pair on Calculus and we aced that project, not to mention that I know that for most your classes you are the top student." Lucas said as we reached my brother's truck where Harmony was talking to both Braden and Jake.

"Dawn did you already tell Lucas?" Braden asked me.

"Tell me about what?" Lucas asked as he slung is arm around my shoulder pulling me closer much to Braden's dismay, as he knew that my brother disliked seeing us together, the idea was still foreign to them.

We had gone out publicly due to Lucas since first thing he did when he saw me in lunch was sit next to me and kissed me right in the lips before he proceeded to steal some of my fries, it had obviously shocked everyone for we had been the talk of the Academy all day long.

"My dad's back and he would like for you to join us for dinner." I told him and Lucas slightly paled.

"Your parents want to meet me?" Lucas asked, he suddenly seemed extremely nervous.

"Technically you'll just meet my dad since you've meet my mum before." I told Lucas and he nodded.

"Alright, I'll be there." Lucas told me and Braden smirked, that of course was a bad sign.

"Harmony, can you come over to the house later to do the project?" I asked her.

Harmony who had preoccupied reading something from her phone looked up and nodded.

"Sure, I'll go over at five once I'm done working." Harmony said, she had recently started working in the town's library which was also a bookstore.

"If you like I could pick you up after I get Dawn from the café?" Braden suggested and Harmony looked at him confused before she eventually nodded.

"Sure, that'll be nice." Harmony said before she walked away towards Lucas' car focused on her phone.

"What's going on with her?" I asked them and Braden shrugged.

"I don't know, she's been acting off all day long." Braden said as he looked at Harmony worried who was currently leaning against Lucas' car talking on the phone.

"I think she has problems in her house, in the morning when I went to pick her up I heard some screaming coming from her house, when Harmony got to the car I noticed that she had been crying yet when I asked, Harmony didn't want to talk about it." Lucas said and I met Braden's gaze.

"I'll try to talk to her when we do the project." I told Braden, if Harmony was in trouble she had to know that she could trust us.

That we could and would help her.
