I gave a gasp as I blinked trying to get rid of the darkness that was suffocating me, soon enough everything stopped being so hazy and I noticed that I was currently in the floor, most of the students were out of their classes looking at me confused. I heard some high heels clicking against the floor before Mia came into view, she was currently wearing some tight blue jeans and a black crop top.

"See I told you she was a complete freak." Mia said with a smirk before she laughed along with the rest of the students.

"Fuck off, Mia." I told her with a groan as I struggled to get up using my crutches but I slowly made it up.

Mia looked at me stunned clearly doubting whether she had heard me correctly, once she saw everyone's reaction she glared at me.

"What did you just say?" Mia asked shocked, she and the rest of the students were surprised that I had just snapped at her.

"You heard me, unless you're deaf now." I told her rolling my eyes at her, sometimes she was so dense; not everyone in the Academy was afraid of her or would put up with her, or at least I wouldn't anymore especially after everything I had gone through recently.

"You cannot just talk to me like that!" Mia snared as she got close to me.

I gave a sigh.

"Look Mia, I'm extremely exhausted and I don't have time to be dealing with your bullshit, right now all I want to do is head home." I said as I turned around and slowly started to walk away.

"And where exactly is that Harmony, didn't your house burn down. We all know here that you are the Coltrane's new charity case, aside from Mrs. Coltrane giving you a scholarship and your dad a job so you could afford to come to this Academy with us they are giving you a place to live, don't you think you're becoming too much of a burden." Mia said in a mocking tone making me stop.

I turned around and glared at her.

"You know nothing." I hissed and in response she smirked.

"I don't, really? Harmony we all know your daddy was a drunk, that the only reason he's in prison now is because he beat you up for being the little whore you are, I guess he heard the rumors that you were planning on running away because you were pregnant. But not only that he burnt your house down, now I thought crazy things like this only happened in movies." Mia said staring at me with a smirk.

I stared at her blankly before I finally spoke.

"Mock me all you want Mia but if you really think about it, you and I, we're really not that different." I told her calmly.

Mia gave a scoff in response.

"You're delusional." She replied, her accusing tone covering her fear since everyone was watching us intently.

I gave a small shrug.

"It could be the head trauma for all I know, but when I was very little my mom passed away, that's when my dad started drinking, so yes I'll admit it, my mom died and my dad is a drunk so I was pretty much neglected my entire life, but what's your excuse Mia? If your parents really loved you like you constantly claim they do they would be concerned over the fact that you whore your way around the Academy, that you don't respect or value yourself for the woman you are, they would give you the love and happiness you need so you wouldn't be so keen on destroying everyone else's. Sure, I admit it, my mom's dead, my dad is in prison for beating me up and being a drink. I could never afford to come to this Academy if it wasn't for my scholarship and I'm homeless yet strange enough I'm the one who feels sorry for you." I said and before I knew it Mia had attacked me but before her claws could really touch me I used one of my crutches to hit Mia on the legs tripping her over and then I placed the tip of the crutch on her chest keeping her on the ground.
