"Dawn please calm down." Lucas said in a careful voice, he was trying to not scare me more.

"Your eyes." I said slightly stuttering as his eyes went back to normal but I had already seen it.

"Please let me explain." Lucas said as he got closer to me.

I leaned against the wall and slowly nodded, if he truly was a rogue and was planning on killing me he'd done it long ago.

"Are you a rogue?" I asked Lucas, what else could explain the color of his eyes?

Lucas shook his head slowly smiling at me.

"No, I'm part of a pack, I'm the son of the Alpha, to be exact." Lucas told me and I frowned confused.

"Then why were your eyes red?" I asked him, that didn't make any sense.

"My father used to be a rogue, a powerful one. Upon finding his mate he decided to create a pack, rogues that were tired of running away decided to join him. We have rules Dawn, laws we live by. But know that even if my pack was made of former rogues I would never do anything to hurt you." Lucas promised as he slowly closed the distance between us.

I stared at his blue eyes captivated, amazed by the fire they held.

I slowly placed my arms around his neck, I ran one of my hand through the back of his head slightly touching his brown hair, Lucas closed his eyes and groaned in complete bliss, I smiled knowing that this small gestured meant everything to us. I ran my fingers through his hair once again before I slightly pulled Lucas so his lips would meet mine. The kiss was slow, hesitate at first before Lucas started to kiss me back, then it escalated so quickly because soon Lucas bit my lower lip slightly tugging it, without even thinking I parted my lips taking it all in, a low growl escaped Lucas' lips as he pressed his body against mine. The kiss that had once started as sweet and slow was now hungry, hot and fast, neither of us could get enough of each other, we had finally caved in to our own needs.

Eventually Lucas pulled away, our breathing was heavy and despite it all both his gaze and mine were filled with lust.

"Thanks for saving me from that dickhead." I told Lucas and he chuckled.

"Don't mention it." Lucas said with a smirk as he picked up my gym bag.

"So how were you in the right place at the right time?" I asked him.

Lucas laughed softly placing his arm around my shoulders pulling me closer to his body.

"Would you believe me if I told you that I was casually passing by sweet cheeks?" Lucas said as we started to walk out of the dance room leaving Asher who was still unconscious behind.

I laughed at this.

"As if I would fall for that." I said laughing completely carefree and Lucas chuckled in response.

After that incident things between Lucas and I changed but for the better, for instance he would join us for lunch and I would actually engage in civil conversations with him with the occasional teasing and also instead of tutoring Lucas during our free hour as we had done before we had decided that he would come over to the café once my shift was over and we would take one of the booths there like today, Lucas came in today as I cleaned the bar.

"Hey sweet cheeks." Lucas said with a wink as he sat across the bar facing me.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head in amusement, no matter how many times I told him he would not drop the nickname.

"I'm off in five minutes, what do you want to go over today?" I asked Lucas as I placed away some of the clean mugs.

"Actually, I came here to talk to you about that. I'm all caught up in classes." Lucas told me with a dazzling smile, I noticed the dimple that appeared on his left cheek.
