"You're okay Harmony?" Lucas said as he parked, it was Monday morning, Braden had dropped me early in the house so I could get some clothes and the rest of my books.

Lucas had picked me up since Braden had to go back to get Dawn and the triplets who were probably still asleep.

"It's so weird, I'm seeing everything from a new perspective, I don't know if I should be excited or scared, probably the latter." I said, over the weekend Lucas and I had talked too, he had explained me everything from being Dawn's soul mate to his current family situation.

"It really doesn't change anything Harmony, we're still the same people but if someone does try to bother you remember that you got two Alpha's protecting you." Lucas said with a smile.

"But you won't be able to do anything if it's Mia given that her father's pack is a very powerful asset for Mr. Coltrane's pack." I said and Lucas frowned.

"In that case just steer clear from her, don't give her reasons to be mad at you." Lucas suggested.

"But the mere sight of Braden and I together makes her blood boil." I told him.

Lucas gave a sigh running his hands through his hair.

"Just ignore her Harmony, you are Braden's mate not her, and if it helps I'll talk to her." Lucas said as we got out of his car.

Today I had opted for some black jeans, a black and white sweater and a grey oversized cardigan, I pulled more of my hair to the side and started to get inside the Academy.

"I thought you promised me you'll wait so I would walk to class" A voice said behind me.

I turned around and saw Braden standing at the bottom of the stairs with a frown.

"You'll have to catch me first Alpha." I said as I stretched my arms up and biting my lip to suppress my smile.

"You better run Red." Braden said with a smirk as he took a step forward.

I quickly turned around and ran towards the hallway, I didn't get halfway there before I felt Braden's hands on waist as he picked me up throwing me over his shoulder.

"Braden put me down!" I yelled laughing feeling the blood rushing to my head as he spun me around.

For most of the day everything went fine, Braden rarely left my side but when he did it was to head to class, part of me knew that it was so he could make sure I would be fine. I had gotten caught up in my previous class that I was extremely late for Literature I hurried down the hallway hoping that Mrs. Coltrane wouldn't give me detention if I interrupted her lecture, I was almost at the door when someone yanked my hair sending me to the ground.

I gave a groan but before I could stand up Mia was on top of me hitting me.

"You, pathetic human!" Mia screeched as she slammed my head against the floor.

"Let me go" I said as I struggled to free myself.

Before I knew it, Mia was torn from me and thrown against the lockers, I looked up and in between my tears I saw how Mrs. Coltrane had Mia against the lockers, her hands were on her throat and Mia's feet weren't touching the floor.

"If you ever touch her again you won't live to tell everyone about it." Mrs. Coltrane said in a hard tone as the students started to get out of their classes gathering around us.

"Harmony, are you okay?" Dawn said as she and Lucas helped me get up.

I nodded never removing my gaze from Mia and Mrs. Coltrane.

"You're a teacher, you can't threaten me." Mia said glaring at her, unfazed by her current position.

"I am the owner of this Academy let me kindly remind you that, aside from that I am the Luna and don't forget it Mia, you are in my territory." Mrs. Coltrane said before she let Mia go.

Mia glared at her before she walked away as if nothing had happened.

"It's a good thing Braden wasn't here to see this or else he would've murder Mia." Dawn said as she glared at Mia.

"Where is he?" I asked cleaning off my tears.

"He had to leave, there was a pack emergency." Dawn said, maybe that was why Mia had attacked because she knew that Braden wasn't here.

"Dawn, Harmony, you two are coming with me." Mrs. Coltrane said in a stern tone.

A couple of minutes later Dawn and I were in what seemed to be this huge training room.

"Mom, what are we doing here?" Dawn asked her confused, after class had ended Mrs. Coltrane had drove us to this place near what I believe was the pack house.

"I will not tolerate seeing you two being pushed around and stepped on, you two are future Lunas, as Luna you are never weak it is your responsibility to be strong, not only for your mate but for your pack. So, from now on you two will train, you will work on being able to defend yourself especially you Harmony, just because you are a human doesn't mean you should let people like Mia push you around, the only reason you are always the victim is because you let yourself be it, you have to learn to fight back. Dawn, your father will be here soon." Mrs. Coltrane said before she walked away not saying another word.

I stayed there in silence looking at everything, all the weapons they had around, the mats to fight and all, I looked around in awe until Mr. Coltrane stepped in.

"I have an understanding that you two will be joining us." Mr. Coltrane told us as he got near.

We both nodded, I was still fascinated by all and Dawn was quickly texting someone.

"It was mom's idea, something about not being a weak Luna." Dawn told her father who nodded in response.

"Ever since your mother had that weird dream about being a complete badass she made sure to make it a reality, after the triplets were born your mother started training endlessly, it seemed as if she was preparing for war, then again I was no one to complain since all those hours of training and fighting paid off and gave her a killer body." Mr. Coltrane said his thoughts trailing off somewhere else.

"Your mom's a badass?" I wondered out loud, she seemed so nice, well except for today's episode with Mia.

I looked at Dawn who shuddered in deep thought, I believe she was triggered by her father's comment on her mom's body.

"Don't let her appearance fool you, my mom is hardcore, she could easily take down any pack member, including my dad." Dawn said and I looked at him.

He gave a sigh.

"Unfortunately, that's true, although in my defense my wife never fights fair for she has some tricks that she uses to distract me, then again everything's fair in love and war." Mr. Coltrane said with a bittersweet smile.
