I opened my eyes to a dim lighted bedroom, I softly stretched my limbs hearing some of my bones crack, I fixed the huge bed head I currently sported, with my curls I was more than sure that I resembled a rat's nest. I heard the water running from the adjoined bathroom, after a while the water stopped and Braden stepped out looking freshly showered.

"Moring Red." Braden said as he gave me a boyish smirk showing off his dimples.

"Morning Mr. Alpha." I said in a soft voice, that was enough to be able to tease Braden and his wolf for his gaze got darker and he slowly climbed the bed hovering over me.

"I love when you call me that Red, but if you want to leave at all the bedroom today you better stop or I will tie you myself to the bed." Braden said in a husky tone that almost turned into a growl.

I gave a small chuckle as I placed my hand on his chest before I gently pushed him off.

"As appealing as that sounds, I'm actually starving." I said as I tried to get off the bed but Braden wouldn't budge.

"Well, you sure did work an appetite last night; besides you're eating for two now." Braden said with a smile before he placed his hand on my lower abdomen.

I pressed my lips into a thin line trying to suppress my smile before I heard my stomach growl making me laugh.

"I think that's my cue." I said before I managed to slip out of his grasp and out of the bedroom.

As I headed downstairs with Braden hot on my trail I noticed some suitcases by the staircase.

"Braden, is someone leaving today?" I said as I looked at him confused.

Braden frowned and I realized that he was just as confused as I was.

"Those are my mom's suitcases, fuck not this again." Braden said before he rushed towards the kitchen where we found the entire Coltrane family minus Dawn having breakfast.

"Hey, there are. We were starting to wonder when you would finally join us for breakfast." Max, Braden's dad said before he continued to drink his coffee.

"Mom, are you leaving the house? Did you and dad have a fight again?" Braden asked as I headed towards the table, sat next to Damien and started to help myself with some food, I was really famished.

"None of that, I can assure that before that whole fight thing and all it was only a façade and only that, nothing else. The truth is that both your dad and I are leaving." Liz, Braden's mom said.

"Leaving, but where and why?" Braden asked, and I could notice the slight fear in his voice.

"Given the fact that you have now officially stepped in as the Alpha of the pack and you have your mate I decided that it's finally time your mom and I get those well-deserved vacations." Max said before he looked at Liz who smiled back.

"You're leaving us, for how long?" Hunter asked as he and Alex looked at their parents worried.

"Maybe for a couple of months, but not for long after all I wouldn't miss anything in the world the birth of my grandson or granddaughter, I will be here to see the baby be born; with that said Harmony I would for you to keep me updated, give me as much details as possible as if I were here." Liz said as he looked at me, I simply nodded before I stuffed my mouth with fruit.

"So, when are you guys leaving?" Braden asked as he sat next to me and started to eat off my plate.

"In a couple of minutes, we should be off by then." Liz said before we heard someone clear their throat.
