"Dawn?" He said as he smiled at me.

"Goddess, Ed what are you doing here?" I asked as I pulled him in a tight hug.

"I should be asking you the same thing." Ed said as he hugged me back.

"Lucas this is my cousin Edward, Ed this is my boyfriend Lucas." I said and I noticed how Lucas smiled as I introduced him as my boyfriend for the first time ever.

"A boyfriend Dawn? That's a first." Ed said in a teasing tone and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Don't even start Ed, wait are your parents here?" I asked and Ed nodded, then as if in cue my uncle Taylor came outside with my aunt Savannah and baby Elis.

"Dawn, sweetie, what are you doing here?" My uncle asked me confused, I could tell that he was slightly alarmed.

I simply shrugged.

"Nothing much, just hanging with my boyfriend." I said innocently.

My uncle Taylor looked at Lucas and then at me.

"Does your father know you're here?" My uncle asked me and I shook my head.

"No, he's away on a business trip." I said, my dad still wasn't back from his trip, this was the longest one yet.

"Dawn I do think it's not a good idea for you to be here alone without any of your pack members." My uncle Taylor said and aunt Savannah rolled her eyes, not only did my dad and brother worried too much about my safety but my uncles did as well, uncle Taylor got so over protective after Ed was born but especially since his first daughter Melody was born, and now with baby Ellie on the way I could only imagine.

"Don't worry Lucas is with me, besides Braden knows where I am." I told him and I saw my uncle relax.

"Alpha Montgomery would you and your family like to join us for dinner?" Lucas politely asked.

"That's nice for you to ask but I've been craving hamburgers and chicken nuggets for the past hour and a half." Aunt Savannah said making both Eddie and I laugh.

"We'll see you for the Christmas dinner." My uncle said before I told them goodbye and headed inside the house following Lucas' lead.

"So, you're related to Alpha Montgomery?" Lucas said as we headed upstairs to what seemed to be the fourth floor.

I nodded mainly captivated by the beauty of the house.

"He's my mom's brother." I told him as we walked down to the end of the hall.

"So, from both sides of your family you come from Alpha's, that's a very powerful bloodline." Lucas said as he met my gaze.

I smiled at him.

"You have no idea." I said as Lucas pushed open the door to his bedroom.

It was quite spacious, the walls were a dark blue color while the curtains were a plain white letting the light in, there was a huge bed in one corner, I noticed the small black sofa, the desk, his tv and videogame set, there books and videogames stacked everywhere. But what really called my attention was the family portrait near Lucas' bed. It was Lucas' mom, Lucas and a man that looked so much like him.

"That was my father Alpha Kaleb." Lucas said as he stood behind me.

"You look so much like your father, maybe that's why your uncle hates you so much." I said and Lucas chuckled.

"Well the feeling is mutual." Lucas said as he placed his chin on top of my head and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You have a very interesting family." I told Lucas I leaned against him.
