"Guess what."

"Is it about the exam?" Taehyung questioned Jimin.

Behind him stood Nayeon, Ara and Taeyeon. All of them staring and anticipating what Jimin had to say.

"I literally just came home from work and opened the letter. You got in, Tae!"

His eyebrows rose up a notch as his mouth gaped open. He almost lost grip on the telephone due to the overwhelming disbelief he felt.

"Are you being serious?" his voice shook with uncertainty and shock

"I really am telling you the truth! This letter is thick with all these leaflets about the university. I will get this delivered to the village.," said Jimin, "Taehyung, are you still there?"

"Yes I'm listening," his voice quivered so he cleared his throat and took in a deep breath, "It's just so hard to believe."

"Well, all I can say is congratulations. You seriously deserve it and best of luck for the future."

With one last quivering breath, he hung up the phone. Instantly, they all rushed to his side, throwing endless questions at him. Taehyung sat down on the sofa because his legs couldn't be trusted to keep him up from how much they were shaking.

After a while of sitting in silence and taking in the big news, he finally told them the life changing news.

"So you are going all the way to Japan?"

The sofa sank lower and he turned to meet his mother's eyes. She put a hand on top of his and gave him a light but reasuring squeeze.

"I'm proud of you. I really am," the corners of her eyes wrinkled as a huge smile played across her lips. Taehyung's expression mirrored hers.

The whole day all he could think about was the news Jimin had told him. It was hard to believe that the dream he had dreamt for the past few years was finally here. It was finally happening. No longer was it a dream and he found that a little weird. A mixture of excitement and anxiety twisted his stomach.

One long week passed and finally the package from the university arrived. Taehyung sat in front of his desk and filled out the form that was provided inside.

"The university is actually really beautiful. You picked a good place."

She was lying on his bed, flicking through the university brochure.

Taehyung let out an amused chuckled, "That isn't why I chose them but I have to agree."

"When are you leaving?"

He picked up one of the letters and searched for the date, "The new school year starts next month so I will be leaving the country in two weeks."

"Well damn, we definitely don't have a lot of time together left then."

That afternoon, Ara found herself in a deep conversation with the mother of the three siblings. She helped the her in the kitchen with the cooking, despite not knowing how to at all. She found the whole multitasking aspect of cooking so alien that it caused her to become overwhelmed. In the end Nayeon told her to just wash the dishes because she could see how much the young girl was struggling.

During their conversation, Ara learnt more about Nayeon then she had ever before. She learnt that they had more things in common than expected.

"You used to be a beauty queen?"

She let out an embarrassed laugh, "Is it hard to believe? I was once nicknamed Princess of Busan. How embarrassing!"

"I would have never imagined you were from the city! Which environment do you prefer?"

"Definitely the countryside. I feel more comfortable, more at home, here than in any other place. I always felt like I didn't belong in the city atmosphere."

Ara couldn't say the same for herself. Even though she had enjoyed her time in the village much more than expected, she was always going to be a city girl.

"You and Taehyung should enjoy your little precious time you have together." Nayeon gave her a sly wink.

It was an understatement to say that Ara was shocked. "How did you-"

"Secrets don't last long in a small village like here."

Ara let out a scared gasp, "Does that mean everyone else..."

"Don't worry Taeyeon has only told me."

Ara let out a sigh of relief. Although she was definitely going to have a little talk with her.

"So far."

She should have known better then think that Taeyeon would actually keep it a secret.

Nayeon switched off the stove and turned to face Ara. "One advice for you- be realistic. You have to be honest with yourself if you can actually make this relationship work out. You are a celebrity and Taehyung is going to another country."

Ara let out a sigh knowing fully well that the future of her relationship was all she worried about. But she tried not to bring it up with Taehyung. She didn't want to put an end to something that only just began.

She couldn't help but think that if only she was a normal girl, being in a relationship would be much easier for the both of them. If the media was to ever find out about Taehyung and the village, they were for sure going to pry into their lives. It would be selfish of her to continue the relationship and not think about what that would mean for the other villagers. The last thing they needed was Dispatch stalking Taehyung just because he was affiliated to her.

She was conflicted between the dilemma of wanting to keep the relationship and her career that she loved.
