Several months had passed and both were back at work with "lighter" schedules. They had more time to spend together as well – not only in shows but in other commitments and their personal time as well.
"....hinimatay daw si Menggay sa barangay kanina? Please confirm...." Rj read this tweet in his feed.
He immediately called Maine.
"Love...anong nangyari?"
"Mainit....nahilo lang....I'm okay.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes....wag ka mag-alala....I'm fine....did you eat the snack I prepared for you? Drink your vitamins also, okay?"
"Yes...thank you....you sure you're okay?"
"Oo....I'm fine....wag ka nang OA....I'll talk to you later....We have to go na raw...."
Several weeks passed without incident until...
"Alden....dinala namin si Maine sa St. Luke's....hinimatay ulit...."
Rj excused himself from EB despite a little bit of protest from the staff as there were just a few minutes left before the show ended.
"Sorry po...na-ER daw si Menggay...."
"Andun naman sina Oreo....di sya pababayaan...."
"Please!" he pleaded.
"....ay! bahala ka na nga...."
He rushed to the hospital and found Oreo, Pat and some JFA/KS staff at the lobby.
"Si Menggay?....anong nangyari?" he asked Oreo and Pat.
"....nahimatay sa baranggay....biglang tumayo tapos bumagsak nalang...."
"saan na sya?"
They pointed to the curtained cubicles of the emergency room.
"...Love....what happened? Has this been happening often? Are you okay? What did the doctor's say?"
"....Babe....isa-isa lang....nahilo lang ako....don't panic....I'm fine...."
"No, you're not...."
"Trust me...nahilo lang ako....it was very hot at the baranggay...."
"Kasi naman, gusto mo talaga dun e....."
"I love the baranggay....you know that...."
"But you've been fainting a lot....."
"I'm okay....."
The doctor came back in.
"Oh good...you're here....congratulations............daddy!"

"Nurse! Tulong." the doctor pulled the curtain open.
