Chapter Twenty One

Two days Later

Owen's POV

Today Amelia took the day off because of really bad morning sickness. She didn't really have any surgeries today and if anything happens Maggie can fill in for her and honestly it gives me more of a chance to talk to some of our friends about my proposal. Addison is coming in and I'm picking her up at the airport and then she's going to help me pick out the ring I decided Addison cause I know how close they are after she helps me pick out the ring she is then gonna surprise Amelia here at the hospital with Charlotte who is another really good friend Addison's son Henry and Jake Addison's husband. They are going to be telling Amelia that they had a patient that lived in California but do to an abusive relationship she had to move here to Seattle and the reason Violet couldn't come was because she couldn't get anyone to take care of Lucas and also Addison really wanted to go to Derek and Mark's grave she wants closer which Jake completely understands. But Addison is also in for a surprise herself because she doesn't know that Amelia is pregnant neither does Charlotte. I see Meredith and April and walk over to them to see if they can help me with the proposal.

Owen: Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me with something
April: Sure what is it
Owen: Um I'm actually planning on proposing to Amelia
April: Oh my god yes I'll help what do you need do you need help picking out the ring cause I'm really good at that like seriously you can ask anyone of my my sisters even though we're not that close they'll tell you that I'm really good at all that romantic stuff but actually the last time I saw them we kinda got into a really bad fight so actually never mind but seriously I'll help in any way
Owen: Actually Addison and another one of her close friends are coming in tonight and their helping pick out the ring but I could use some help on planing on how I'm going to propose cause seriously I have no idea
April Oh my god are you seriously yes I'll help you with anything
Meredith: Does Amelia know that Addison is coming in
Owen : No she doesn't know so if you see her please don't say anything
April/Meredith Oh yeah no problem
Owen: But still I can really use your help so do want to meet me in like two hours I have some meetings to go to with Bailey I may actually get her involved too
(Arizona over heard and walks over )
Arizona: Get who involved with what ?
Owen: Me, I'm planning on proposing to Amelia and I was looking around to see if I could bounce some ideas off of some people
Arizona: Oh my god, First of all congratulations it's about time you ask her
(In comes Callie)
Callie: Ask who what?
Arizona: (Excitedly silently yells) Owen is proposing to Amelia.
Owen: A little louder would you
Callie Well it's about time
Owen; Meredith are you okay you've been kinda quiet
Meredith: Oh yeah I fine really I am it's just Bailey was up all night throwing up and that led to Maggie and I getting like zero sleep because Zola has been up for like three nights in a row because she has been having these nightmares about me dying and I just don't know what to do
April : You know Jackson and I would love to help out if you
Callie: Yay same here anything you need
Meredith:Thanks it's ok I just think she really misses Derek you know
Arizona: Maybe she needs some one to talk to someone who knows what it's like to talk to loose a parent at such a young age
Callie: Yah like Amelia I mean how old was she when her and Derek's father
Owen: Like five or six I don't really know she doesn't really talk about it
Meredith : You know maybe they can just talk to each other maybe they they could help each other that way
Owen: Yah I'll talk to Amelia about thats
Meredith Yah thank you anyway I got to go do a surgery so talk to you guys later
April:Bye
Callie You know what I actually have to go to o see ya
Arizona Oh my god what time is it

April: Oh god I'm late for a meeting bye
Arizona: So we will talk about this later
Owen: Yah bye
