Owen's POV

After Amelia and I had our meeting with the wedding planner we had to go to the hospital we were both on call tonight and I also wanted to talk to Ms Ross. I wanted to have the time to get to know Quinn. When we arrived at the hospital I told Amelia that I had a surgery to do so I kissed her goodbye and told her to have a good day. I didn't want to tell her were I was going because I didn't want to disappoint her I wanted it to be a surprise if we ended up being able to adopt. I arrived at Quinn's room Quinn was watching a movie Ms Ross was in the chair next to her

Owen: Hi Ms Ross I was wondering if we can speak out in the hallway

Ms Raven: Sure, Hey Quinn I'll be out in the hallway with Dr Hunt okay

(Out in hall)

Owen: I was wondering if you can make some time so I can get to know Quinn seeing as my wife and I wanting to adopt her

Ms Raven: Sure how about now I can give you guys some privacy

Owen: Actually now would be perfect I have an hour before my next surgery

Ms Raven : Okay let me just let her know what's going on but I don't want her to know that you are thinking of adopting her so l just tell her that your a councilor

Owen: Sure

Ms Raven: Hey Quinn Dr Hunt is going to watch while I go to an important meeting ok

Quinn: Okay

Owen: Hi Quinn my name is Owen how are you doing

Quinn: I'm okay it's just...

Owen: It's just what Quinn what is it

Quinn: There's this doctor who I have gotten really close to and I just I just really want her to be my mommy her name is Amelia do you know her

Owen: Actually I do she's my fiancée

Quinn: She is

Owen : Yes she is

Quinn: Do you love her

Owen: More than she knows.

Quinn: She hasn't come by in a while, and I don't know why I really miss her she used to visit me every day we talked a lot

Owen: Let me guess about princesses

Quinn: No

Owen: Unicorns?

Quinn: Hahahaha No but I do love unicorns their my favorite animal

Owen: Their Amelia's favorite too why do you love unicorns so much

Quinn: I don't know maybe because their magical powers and their so pretty

Owen: Hey how funny is that, that's why Amelia loves them

No wonder why Amelia loves this girl so much she's like a mini Amelia she is smart beyond her years

Owen: So Quinn I would like to get to know you

Quinn: My favorite color is Blue

Owen: Ohh blue now why is that?

Quinn: I don't know maybe it's because it's the color of the ocean

Owen: Ahh what else do you like ?

Quinn: Well I love to read and I love the movie Frozen, I also love dogs

Owen: Oh I see what's your favorite food ?

Quinn: I don't know I never ate much

Owen: Now why is that?

Quinn: I'm not supposed to tell you

Owen: Why?

Quinn: Cause they'll hurt me

Owen: Who will hurt you?

Quinn: I can't tell you

After playing go fish, checkers, and uno Quinn falls asleep while watching her favorite movie Frozen.

Owen's POV

As I watch Quinn fall asleep I finally decided that I want to adopt her. And that's when Meredith comes in

Meredith: Owen what are you doing here?

Owen: Oh the social worker had an important meeting to go to and I don't have any surgeries for a few hours so I offered to help. What are you doing here

Meredith: Oh I'm checking up on her charts. So I guess that you know her background?

Owen: Ya, But I have a question and it can't leave this room You promise

Meredith: Yeah I promise what is it?

Owen: How hard was it to adopt Zola?

Meredith: It was extremely hard I mean you were there but it was the best thing I ever did. Why do you ask? Are you thinking about adopting ( pointing to Quinn who is thankfully still asleep)

Owen: Actually I am and I would like to keep it just between you and I Amelia doesn't need any more stress right now

Meredith: Well ok I best be going I have a lot of charting to do good luck and your secret is safe with me

Owen: Thanks bye

Meredith: Oh and Owen adopting Zola was the best thing Derek and I ever did
