Chapter Thirty Nine

Quinn's POV

Today Aunt Meredith and Aunt April took Zola, Bailey, Ellis, Bethany, and I to the park mom and dad needed time to themselves before the babies come . As we arrived at the park I ran as fast as I could to the swings one of my favorite things at the park. Sometimes when I get really high up I pretend that I'm flying like a bird. Zola came next to me we had a contest of who could jump off the swings the furtherest it was a lot of fun after that Zola and I decided to play a game of hide and seek I hid in a crawl space under one of the slides. While I was waiting for Zola to find me I felt a tap on my shoulder and when I turned around I couldn't believe what I was seeing it was my older sister Claire. I was speechless.

Claire: Hello baby sister how have you been
Quinn: Claire is that really you
Claire: What do you mean of course it's me
Quinn: But mom she told me.....
Claire: She told you what....why are you looking at me like that?
Quinn: Mom said that you died.
Claire: What?
Quinn: Remember that time I slept at Granny's house because you were sick?
Claire: Yeah?
Quinn: Well when I got home she said that you had gone into the hospital and died.
Claire: Sure she took me to the the hospital but she left me there..... and I wasn't even that sick
I hear Zola calling me
Quinn: Listen I gotta go but do you have a cellphone?
Clair: You have a a cellphone?
Quinn: Yeah but only for emergencies I could only have a certain amount of people in it my new parents gave it to me.
Claire: You have new parents?
Quinn: Yeah I got adopted but I'll tell you more about it later here's my number

I give her a piece of paper that has my number but before left her I give her a hug and told her that everything is going to be all right.

Meredith's POV
While Jo, April, and I were at the park with the kids I had noticed Quinn talking to a girl a little bit older than she was. Just by looking at them I can tell that seemed like they knew each other pretty well. I could be jumping to conclusions but. Then Jo came over to me and mentioned that she noticed that she also saw the interaction. I told her that I will talk about it with either Owen and Amelia or Quinn later and when I turned my head again the girl was no where to be seen and Quinn was playing with Zola on the swings like nothing happened

About not ten minutes later I see Quinn running over to me with fear in her eyes

Quinn: Aunt Meredith Aunt Meredieth it's Zola she fell and hurt herself really bad

I ran over to where they were I didn't know how bad it was until I got there she was lying on the ground next to the slide and I got to her I realized that she was unconscious and then I told Quinn to go tell April or Jo to get help . Not a minute later April comes rushing over to me followed by Jo who said that they called for am ambulance and that they'll be here in less then five minutes considering that the hospital is only five blocks away What felt like so much longer the ambulance finally came

I wanted to apologize for not updating in so long I have had a long awaited writers block. And I haven't had time to come up with a ideas but now I have a lot of free time. And I will be updating a least once a week so yeah
