Owen POV
Today is the day today I am marrying the love of my life it's cliche I know but she has helped me more than Cristina ever could. I don't regret being with Cristina she taught me how to be patient but she wasn't able to give me anything that Amelia could. Amelia has given me so much which is happiness, love, courage, strength, bravery, and last but not least our beautiful adopted daughter and twins on the way I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Alex is great at being best man he has been working with Addison and Charlotte who are making sure everything runs smoothly. Charlotte is the one mostly controlling the kids it some how comes natural to her do to the fact that she likes to control things and has triplet girls who are now toddlers and a son who is thirteen we just figured that would be a perfect thing she can help us out with. Addison is helping Amelia and the bridesmaids get ready. Alex is the one leading people to their seats. He told me that most of my family are already here and all of Amelia's family and friends are here like a few other people from Ocean Side Wellness Center in LA are also here. Sam and Naomi who are both Physicians who I think I have met a long time ago came with their two year old son Parker their two daughters Maya and Betsey who is adopted, their son in law Dink who is Maya's husband and father of Charlotte's husband Cooper and their four kids, Violet who is Therapist and her son Luke. Jake who is Addison's husband is also here he seems pretty cool and like Addison he's in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He and Addison have an adopted son Henry. Jake also has an adopted daughter Angela from another marriage who came with them she's in college studying to be a Social Worker it took her a long time to realize what she wants to do in life but after traveling she learned a lot about herself. Now I know that I'm getting off topic but I'm just so happy that so many people have come to our wedding Amelia was really scared that no one would come her ex fiancé James sent her a letter saying how happy he is for us he would have come but he thought it would be strange he also thanked her for breaking up the engagement with him because he's now with someone else and is very happy.
As I'm practicing my vows Alex walks into the room telling my it's time I take a deep breath look at myself in the mirror and turn around and follow Alex out. The wedding is beautiful the chairs are set up so they are facing the view of the mountains. We decided on just a simple wedding we didn't want anything to big. The reception is under a tent it's really simple with a buffet of food we also have a band playing classical music we didn't want to have any alcohol do to the fact that Amelia is not only pregnant but also an alcoholic so for drinks we served all different types of lemonade. When I reach the altar and turn to face our guest the first people I see are Amelia's mom and sisters her mother gets up from her seat and walks over to me she tells me that even though Derek isn't here today he is here in spirit and she hands a letter to me and tells me that Derek wrote it before he died it was going to be his speech for when Amelia got married. I thanked her and told her that I will read it after the wedding she nods and walks back to her seat. Soon after the music started playing and people who are in the wedding begin walking down the aisle
Addison and Charlotte are linking arms with Alex in the middle when all three reach the end Stephanie and Avery begin down then is Jo and Ben followed by Meredith and Webber behind them is Zola and Quinn who are gracefully helping Bailey and Ellis now since the wedding is outside there is a curtain behind the last row of seats and as Amelia turns the corner to walk down the aisle and the moment I see her I suddenly forget about everything and all I can hear is the change of music in which they are now playing Bless the Broken Road (Play song now) a song that means so much to Amelia and I it reminds us that no matter how hard it will get we can make it together it helps us understand why we love each other and honestly I whenever I hear it all I think about is Amelia and our family it feels like forever but she is finally at my side ready to take this amazing journey with me and as I take her hand and I know that I'll never let go the priest begins the ceremony
(Bailey is the priest)
Dearly Beloved we are gathered here today to join as Amelia Shepherd and Owen Hunt declare thief love for one another. If anyone has a reason why these two should not be together speak now or forever hold your peace (No one says anything)
We all know that Amelia and Owen have both have been through so much cause we all have. Some of us have been shot, some of us have been in plane crashes, some of us have been raped and beaten for no reason,but some of us have also lost loved ones, Derek Shepherd, Lexie Grey, Mark Sloan, Megan Hunt, and many more others who we hold in our hearts. And so I ask you why are you here, are you here because of Owen, are you here because of Amelia,or are you here to see if there really is a thing called true love.
Now Owen and Amelia decided to write their own vows so whenever you are ready
Owen when I first came to Seattle I was lost I didn't have a clue of what I wanted in life. But then . . . then I found you . . . you have shown me that life does get better . . . when Derek died you were there for me when no one else was you where a shoulder for me to lean on. I remember when I first knew I was in love with you. It was the day Riggs arrived unexpectedly at the time I didn't know why but you got so angry and you lashed out at me but at the end of the day you came up to me and told me why you where so angry and then you told me the story about your sister and how he betrayed her and then you told me how much you wanted to be with me because I make you a better person Well Owen I'm not only excited to to give birth to the twins and to be the mother of our daughter Quinn but I'm even more excited to spend the rest of my life with you and our three amazing kids and showing you how good of a man you are
(Owen reaches inside his pocket to get the piece of paper in which he wrote the vows on but changes his mind)
Amelia to tell you the truth I originally wrote the vows on a piece of paper thinking it was the best thing I have ever written but after hearing yours I know that yours was so much much better. When Christina and I broke up I told myself actually I promised myself that I would never fall in love with anyone again than . . . but then . . . I met you . . . you are the best thing that has ever happen to me well except for our amazing three kids and I can't believe that I just said kids something I thought I would never get to say you have no idea how much that means to me and I promise you from this day forward that I will spend the rest of my life showing you how much I love you and for always being there for you no matter how hard it gets
Bailey's POV
May we please have the rings Little Bailey steps up and hands me the rings I then hand one ring over to Owen. Owen would you repeat after me
Bailey:
I offer my vow to you in the form of this ring,
so that my word and my love,
will always be with you,
close to your heart.
Owen:
I offer my vow to you in the form of this ring,
so that my word and my love,
will always be with you,
close to your heart.
I then hands Amelia the other ring and. Amelia repeat after me
Bailey:
I offer my vow to you in the form of this ring,
so that my word and my love,
will always be with you,
close to your heart.
Amelia:
I offer my vow to you in the form of this ring,
so that my word and my love,
will always be with you,
close to your heart.
Bailey:
With the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride.
As Owen and Amelia kiss Zola and Quinn cover each other's eyes while saying eww. After the kiss every one exists in the opposite order of which they came
