(The Night Before)
I'm supposed to be in bed but I had a dream about daddy. I miss him so much. I go try to find mommy I hear her talking to Aunt Amelia, and Aunt Maggie in the kitchen I don't hear much but as I go downstairs it becomes clearer Aunt Amelia is upset again she has been in upset since Uncle Owen stopped coming by she doesn't read to me anymore and whenever Uncle Owen was here she would read to me all the time, we would go to the park with Bailey, and Ellis when Uncle Owen was here but not any more. I want Aunt Amelia to just be happy again like she was when Uncle Owen was here all the time she was so happy I wish daddy was here he'd always knew what to do as I sit on the stairs I can hear my mommy saying to Aunt Amelia that Owen should know how Aunt Amelia really feels. I wait awhile and decided to go to mommy when I get to the kitchen mommy she asks me why I'm not in bed I tell her that I had a nightmare Aunt Maggie brings me upstairs and back to bed I ask her to stay until I fall asleep she says ok I don't know how long it took me but I fell asleep again thinking about why Aunt Amelia is sad I wish I can help her feel better just because I'm only a kid doesn't mean I don't see that she is sad
