Chapter Thirty One

Amelia's POV

(Next Day)

Today Owen and I had an appointment with the wedding planner we decided to hire a wedding planner do to our busy schedules. We haven't talked much about adopting Quinn and to be honest I don't think he wants to we are already having twins. I just really hope that she goes to a good home. Maybe I can talk to the social worker about seeing if I could keep in touch with Quinn no matter what happens to her. The drive was long even though the place where we had to meet the wedding planner was only twenty minutes away it seemed like a hour  and do to the fact that it was raining everything  just seemed longer during the ride we didn't talk much but it was okay, We both were very tired and we also were on call tonight. We arrived at our destination prepared for a long day When we entered we both of us checked in and sat down. We waited five minutes then something women came out

Lady: Amelia Shepherd come with me please

The lady leads Owen and I in a fancy office she then tells us that the wedding planner will be in with us in a few minutes and to wait here. A few minutes later a woman dressed in a business suit comes in

Ms Ross Hi I'm so sorry I'm late I was at another appointment you must be soon to be Mr and Mrs Owen Hunt my name is Ms Ross

Amelia: Hi I'm Amelia nice to meet you

Owen: Oh and I'm Owen nice to meet you

Ms Ross: Before we start I just have a few questions to ask you

Owen: Sure go ahead

Ms Ross Ok thank you first question is Do you guys have a date in mind

Amelia: Actually we do we really want to get married like in a month or so maybe sooner

Ms Ross: So soon may I ask why

Amelia: Oh you see I'm pregnant with twins and we just really want to get married before the babies come. We are also moving to house that we haven't even found yet so

Ms Ross: First of congratulations and I completely understand finding a house can be very challenging do you guys have a realtor yet

Owen: No we do not do you know anyone that could help us

Ms Ross: Actually yes my husband

Amelia: No way

Ms Ross: I'll give you his card when we are done here and let me just say my husband and I completely understand believe it or not but we actually get a few clients who are in the same situation as you are in so let me see what I have here but as I'm looking do you guys know where the destination of your wedding will be

Owen: Actually we have we are thinking of getting married at a chapel where work and then the party will be a family/ friends house their  property is huge and the view is amazing it kind of looks over a valley of mountains it's where we had our first kiss, date, and it's also where I proposed

Ms Ross: Oh my god that sounds  amazing my husband and I we got married really young you see  and we couldn't afford much so we got married in court and had a party at local restaurant afterwards kind of like in Sex and the City you know

Amelia: Oh cool my brother and sister in law actually got married in court too but they didn't have a party they only got married so they could adopt their now daughter Zola I mean they were in love also

Ms Ross: Wow are they still married?

Amelia: Well actually umm my brother died a couple of years ago in a car accident

Ms Ross: Oh my god I'm so sorry my sister died to but in a plane crash

Amelia: Oh no I'm so sorry

Ms Ross: Don't be it's okay actually had my daughter and son ( Luke and Lily) a year later their twins I wish I had pictures

Owen: It's okay maybe another time

Ms Ross: Yeah, I actually have found a date how does October 25 soundthat

Amelia: Actually that sounds perfect to me how does it sound to you Owen

Owen: October 25  that is perfect so in four weeks and four days am l correct

Ms Ross: Yep that's correct now before you leave I'll give you some pamphlets on some wedding ideas and my card just in case you have any questions oh and I almost forgot here's my husbands card

Amelia: Okay thanks

Ms Ross: I also have some forms for you guys to fill out its nothing hard just some information about you so I could get in touch with you and few more questions so I could get to know what your looking for that's all but you could do it at home and bring it back with you the next time you come in

Amelia: Thank you so when do you want to meet next

Ms Ross: How about next week does that sound good to you

Owen: Well you see we are surgeons at Grey Sloan Memorial and our schedule kind changes all the time

Ms Ross: Okay so why don't just keep in contact by email and phone does that work out and you can just drop the pamphlet at some point next week

Amelia: Yeah that might be easier

Ms Ross: Don't worry it happens all the time Okay so we'll be in touch

Amelia: Yeah do you want our phone number

Ms Ross: Yeah I would actually

Amelia: My number is 206 976 3451

Owen: And mine is 206 455 8590

Ms Ross: Okay thank you so much so we'll be in touch in a few days just to update some things

Owen/ Amelia: Okay bye
