Amelia POV
Last night was the best night of my life Owen proposed and I said yes. Up until then I thought for sure Owen would leave me we had just found out that we are not just expecting one baby but two. It's not that I'm excited I am really it was just a surprise and now I'm engaged to the love of my life. Today I took the day off but I'm still going in just to check up on things I also want to see Zola and show her my ring. I'm still in bed Owen is asleep next to me I'm playing with my ring when I suddenly feel his two lips touching my shoulder. I turn to face him he whispers "Good Morning " I smile and laugh whispering good morning. He's about to say something when his phone rings he answers it.
Owen: Hello this is Owen Hunt
Person: Hi we just wanted to let you know that the house fell through ( not for sale anymore) I'm sorry Sr
Owen : It's okay thanks for letting me know
Amelia:House? Since when did you start looking at houses
Owen: Since the moment I knew I wanted to propose
but now we lost it
Amelia: Lost what?
Owen: The house that we were supposed to raise our kids in
Amelia: Owen you know I love you right
Owen: Yah
Amelia: Good then I can tell you that you're an idiot
Owen: What
Amelia: It wasn't our house to begin with and anyway and look at it this way we can now look at houses together
Owen (bringing me into an embrace) how did I get so lucky to have you, you are so smart I love you
Amelia: I love you too
After our talk we just laid in bed together just wanting to stay in the moment. Feeling each other is the only thing that I want to have right now and it feels so good. I tell Owen that I want to go to the hospital just to check up my things and see Zola I haven't seen her in a while he agrees
Zola's POV
I hope Aunt Amelia said yes I would be so happy it she did. Aunt Maggie told me that she too hasn't seen Amelia this happy even though she hasn't known her for long she told me that Aunt Amelia told her that she was in love with Uncle Owen. Mommy is bringing me to daycare today I guess I'll get to see her then.
When I get to daycare I see Sophia and our friend Scarlett her mom is a nurse her dad is in school she says. I am playing with crayons when I see Aunt Amelia
Zola: Aunt Amelia (screaming in excitement)
Amelia: Zola, How are you today Zozo
Zola: Good
Amelia: Wanna know a secret
Zola: Yah
Amelia: Uncle Owen asked me to marry him
Zola: Aaahhhh he did when
Amelia: Last night wanna see the ring
Zola: ( jumping up in extreme excitement) It's so pretty
Amelia: I know right, well I gotta go see some other people right now
As I am leaving Zola chases after me
Zola: Wait Aunt Amy wait when am I going to see you again I miss you
Amelia I miss you too maybe I'll talk to your mommy about this weekend ok
Zola: Ok I'll see you ( leans in for a hug)
Amelia: Bye bye Princess ( bends down and kisses her on the cheek
