As merideth walked into the hospital a trail of candles lead her all the way to the surgery room were they first met.
When she finally reaches the room she was met by dereks kiss when he was done kissing her she looked around them to see that there was flowers, candles, petals on the floor and balloons..
"Derek what's all of this for?"
He grabbed her hand and walked her to a seat and kneeled down before her.
"Look addison is in love with someone else now and I never was in love with her, she noticed that you and i liked each other and she tried to get me to like her again but I talked to her about leaving me alone that's when she met someone and I needed to see you to tell you, that you are my world mer I.. I need you"
She smiled and covered her face with her hands and she smiled.
Derek grabbed her hands and stood her up and danced around with her until Derek got on one knee and asked her to be his girlfriend for now until they get really serious.
"Derek"
She jumped into his arms and hugged him tightly.
