Its about 10:30am.You come out of the bathroom and everyone is just looking at you. Your hoping you dont look bad. All your wearing is one of your tighter fitting jeans and a low v-neck shirt. You put some make up to try to cover the bruises. "Well, well I think its time to get going you have a lot of shopping to do sista." Beth says as she stands up." She walks into the kitchen with Dog and says "Baby Lyssa and Angel you guys can start heading out to the car." "ok" you both giggle. As you get out to the car you turn to Lyssa and ask "Hey do I look okay? Why was everyone looking at me?" "Oh sista we werent looking at you because you look bad. Believe that. Hahahahahaha. Dont believe ask Leland." "Ok then. I think." Beth is coming out to the car and says "ok girls get in the car. Ive got big daddys credit card and a full tank of gas." All three of you hop in the car and take off. Half hour later you guys are in a store and Baby Lyssa is trying a couple things on. "Hey Beth do you think having a crush on someone already is a bad thing?" you ask. "I believe that with a little more time just to get readjusted with how things are now youll be fine. Who you thinking about?" "No one really." She just kinda smiles at you. She hands you a couple things to try. You obey and try the things on she looks at them and says that your getting everything. About 2:30 your cell goes off saying you have a text, the number doesnt look familiar but you open it anyways. It reads 'hey Angel I got your number from dad hope you dont mind. I was wondering if you wanted to out to dinner tonight with me.' You save the number and reply with 'I dont mind at all. Won't Dog and Beth mind?' Just then Beths phone rings and she answers it talks for a couple minutes and says "not a problem at all," and smiles at you. She turns around and looks at you and says "Looks like we have to find someone a date outfit." Oh my favorite kind of outfit." Baby Lyssa says.

Dad gave me the number. I sat for an hour before I got the nerve to text her. After she asked about Dad and Beth, I called Beth and asked her. I was so happy to hear Beth say yes. I texted Angel to see if she wanted to go. I got text back like 5 seconds later saying 'of course le-le.' "Hey Duane Lee where should I bring Angel tonight?"He tells me not to over do it right now. I decide that a small panic on beach. I quickly texted Lyssa to tell her what I was planning. She said she was still going to get Angel a date outfit. I texted Angel to see if that was a yes. It was and I was head of heels with excitement. I go about getting everything ready for tonight. Before I forgot I saved her number as babygirl. I got everything together and put it in the back of my truck. I went back inside to get ready after all we were leaving
before the sun set and that was in an hour and half.

Leland wanted to be at the place before the sun set so you had to hurry out of the store and get home. You didnt even have a chance to say hi to anyone. Lyssa and Beth dragged you and some of your stuff onto the house and rushed you to Dog and Beth's room and practically threw you in the shower. You put the dress that you and lyssa picked out. Its a black and baby blue flowered print halter. Lyssa did your hair and Beth did your make-up. You look at yourself. 'wow,' you say. Beth looks at you and says "You look wonderful babygirl." "Thanks to you two" "sista please now you gotta get out there before Leland thinks your saying no." You walk out to the living and again people are just looking at you. "ok this gotta stop. Why is everyone wicked quiet when I walk into a room?" "No reason," Leland says as he gets off the couch. You noticed that his hair is braided and hes clean shaven and hes wearing a nice pair of black pants and black wife beater, with an unbuttoned baby blue shirt on. "Hey did you guys plan to wear the same clothing?" Duane Lee asks laughing. "no their my favorite colors," you and Leland both say. You both laugh. Leland says you guys have to get going and he puts his hand on the small of your back and glides you out of the house. You walks you down the drive way and opens the door for you and helps you climb up into the truck. You see Dog, Beth and everyone else in the door way. Leland starts to get in the car and then gets out. "shit I forgot my phone. Hold on one sec babygirl," and he takes off to the house. Duane Lee comes running out of the house laughing. He gives you Lelands phone and says "here whatever you say dont tell him its me. Ok?" "ok," you laugh. "Hey Leland its right here. You had in the car," you say. Duane Lee runs back into the house before Leland comes out. Beth yells "you two be careful" you smile and wave and Leland says "ya, ya. Well be home later," and hops into the car. "Duane Lee had it didnt he?" "I don't know it was right here." And you point to the seat and lay your hand down. He puts his hand on top of yours. And you hold it and look at him and he smiles at you. He picks your hand up and kisses it. "So where are we going?" "No no thats a surprise its only a lil bit further. Well be there shortly." About 5 minutes after he said that he pulled over and said you guys were going to walk. He grabbed a couple things from the back of his truck and walked over to you. He holds out his hand and you take it and he smiles at you. You both are walking when you come up to small path which you havent seen if you werent paying attention. He leads down the path and you see that theres a blanket on the beach with a couple tiki torches around the blanket.
