Its about 8 in the morning when you finally wake up and Leland isn't beside you. You throw some sweats on and head downstairs. You smell something simply amazing and hear laughter. As you head into to the kitchen you something you never expected , there is Alex, Bob, and Leland's sons sitting at the island. Leland and Shai are both working around by the stove cooking. "Good morning sleepy head!!!" Alex says.You just stand there in awe. Leland stops what he's doing and starts to walk towards you. As he walks past Dakota you hear Dakota ask "Is that Angel Dad?" Leland stops looks at you and then back to his sons and says "yes boys thats her. Come on theres someone special you guys need to meet." The three of them head towards you and all you can see is how much love Leland has for his sons and how much they look just like him. "Come on lets go sit down and talk for a bit." Leland says. As he walks past you he gabs your hand and walks towards the living room. "Ok boys you guys need to meet someone who is very special to me and I'm hoping to you as well. Dakota and Cobie this is Angel. Angel this is Dakota and this little guy on my lap is Cobie."

You couldn't believe it. Just a couple hours ago Maui was on the phone telling you that the boys would never be around you and now here they sat. In front of you, with their father. "It's every nice to finally meet you too. I've been waiting," right in the middle of you talking Cobie gets up and throws his arms around you. "Angel your pretty" his little voice whispers in your ear. You just about lost it when you feel another set of arms wrapped around your other side. There you sat with each one of Leland's kids on each side of you and you started to cry. "Ok boys ok, let her breathe for a second" "hey boys lets eat!" You look up threw tears in your eyes to see Bob, Alex and Shai standing in the doorway. You had completely forgotten they were there. " thanks Bob you mind watching them a couple mins while I talk to our girl over here?" Leland asked " not at all, Angel that was a sight I thought I would never see. Simply amazing" Bob said while the other two just smiled.

After Angel finally fell asleep this morning, I was so full of anger that I took off. I headed straight to Maui's house. 6 in the morning and I knew she would be up. She was always an early raiser. I knocked a dozen time, nothing. I called a bunch nothing. I finally called Beth and my dad. "Dad I know my kids are in there I can hear them." "Call the police son, we'll be right there."
"Yes sir we have joint custody of the kids, she threatened to take them from me. I came over to talk to her today." I was telling the police when my dad pulled up.
"Maui Naba this is Hawaii State Police open the door or we are breaking it down!" "Ok boys break it down."

Leland
"I couldn't believe the house when I walked in the doorway. Maui had always been on the messier side but never like that" I sat next to Angel telling her the events of the morning. "There was trash everywhere. The police wouldn't let me enter the house completely. I heard Cobie crying and there was nothing I could do. When the police bought the boys over to me, Dad and Beth, I just about lost it. They were covered in dirt. Their clothes ripped. Kept saying over and over again that they were hungry. Angel thank god Bath always has snacks in the car." Beth had taken the kids over to the car because the police needed to talk to me. " Mr. Chapman we found Ms. Naba, I suggest the kids be shielded, their mother is drunk and violent. " " are you fucking kidding me?" " son you know better then to talk to a police officer like that." Dad said to me. I was beyond pissed.

You couldn't listen anymore to what Leland said. You got up and ended right into the kitchen. You froze in the doorway. "They are staying with us. They are never going back there," Leland said as he wrapped his arms around you. "Come on I'm hungry." You head over to the island and sit next to Cobie who's eating his pancakes with his hands. "Son you know how to use a fork please do so" Leland says as he makes you a plate. "Angel can I sit with you." "You sure can Cobie." Before you can even say anything Leland pipes up with " babe since the boys came earlier then expected I was thinking you and Shai could do some shopping this morning and us guys will have a guys day." "Yay!!!!" Came from Bob, Alex, Dakota and Cobie. "Well chicky we're getting kicked out today!" Shai says as she sits next to you and rubs your back. "Angel can I ask you favor?" Dakota says screwing up his face while he thinks, " you know your dad makes that same face, of course you can sweety." " well me and Cobie don't have a lot of clothes here, can you buy him some?" "Dakota Chapman you both are getting a whole new wardrobe and toys and anything you guys may need." You say as you look over at Dakota "Really? You really mean that Angel?" "Dakota come with me a second," you say as you put Cobie on the other chair and grab Dakota's hand. " so you know that me and your dad are really close special friends right?" " well duh your his girlfriend" " hahaha well yes young man I am. You and Cobie are the two most important people in your dad's life. And now you two are the most important people in my life. I'm going to be here no matter what. Ok?" "Angel are you going to be our mom now?" " why would you think that Dakota?" " well I heard Dad talking to your friends about a ring and I just thought." " well I know nothing about that, but what I do know is I'm not going to take your mom's place but what I do hope is that me you and Cobie can be really good friends. Ok?" " ok we can do that." "Ok let's go finish breakfast and then you boys spend all day with the big guys." After another half hour eating you were back in your room getting ready. The boys were going to do boy stuff, whatever that means while you and Shai did some shopping and then there was going to be a big cook out at Dog and Beth's tonight.
