I woke up a little before 9 with four eyes looking at me. "Dad are you awake?" "Well I am now son. What time is it?" I asked as they jumped up on the bed. It was 11am. Tomorrow we were going to have the ceremony, today was going to be a relaxing day for us. I had plans on Angel going to the spa and myself and the boys were going to the beach. "Momma I think you need to get up." Cobie said while trying to pry Angels eyes open. "Angel your son wants you." "Leland before noon he's yours," she says as she smiles. "Well my dear I'm up and gunna order room service. What would my boys like?" "Pancakes!!" They both yelled while Angel sat up and adjusted her pillows. She leaned over and grabbed her phone. "Hey none of that Ms. Cobb. Vacation remember." "Oh relax I'm just checking in and our emails." She said and smiled as she put her phone back on the night stand. She leaned against the headboard and closed her eyes while rubbing her belly. The boys sitting next to her talking away. I just had to take couple pictures of her. "Hey dad I'm hungry." Dakota looked up from his mother's lap, "and I think my little sister is too." "Well mama is hungry." I couldn't help but chuckle at him. "Oh and what does Little Jade want to eat this morning?" I asked leaning against the doorway phone filming the whole thing. Both boys had their heads on her stomach, her laughing and playing with their hair. "Jade wants little pancakes,a little bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese." Dakota said. "Momma wants strawberries with sugar and tea." Cobie said as they both looked at me. "Sounds about right to me." Angel said with a smile. About a half hour later our brunch was there and the boys were sitting at the table waiting for Angel. She walked outta our room in an oversized t-shirt and a pair of yoga pants and her hair up. She was perfect. She sat down and we begun to eat. " so boys what are we doing today?" Angel asked while cutting up Cobie's pancakes. " Dad said we were going to beach or pool or something today, but it's just us." Dakota said while he shoved bacon in his mouth. "Son small bites. And yes my dear the boys and I are going to go either to the beach or the pool. And you have the day to yourself." "What the heck am I going to do with myself all day?" She asked as she put her fork down. "Well you are going to make sure your dress fits, your going to spa and getting whatever you want done. And then we all will meet up for dinner and sign papers tonight." She picked up her fork while thinking and simply smiled. "So boys do you know why we're here this weekend?" I asked my sons. "To spend time with you and momma away from everyone. Duh" Cobie said while Dakota just looked away. " is this like when you and our other mom took us away?" My oldest asked. " not at all bud." Angel said and leaned over to kiss him, but he pulled away. "Hey don't pull away from your mother." Angel silently stood from the table and walked to our room and shut the door where I heard he begin to cry. " son what is wrong with you?" "We already lost one mommy and we're going to loose another one. Angel said she would always care about us, but this is just like before." I blocked it from my memory up until now. He was right, Cobie was a baby when me and Maui spilt up. We had taken Dakota away to tell him that mommy and daddy weren't going to be together anymore. "Kota me and Angel are not splitting up at all. You remember a couple months ago when we were all at grandpas and grandmas?" "Yes a little bit." I knew things were a little cloudy for them and the last thing I wanted to do was bring up, "well you remember me asking Angel to marry me?" "Yes I remember that." He said looking down at his plate. "I want to your mom. I'm not going anywhere bud. We're here so me and your dad can get married and we wanted it to be a little thing with two of the most important people in our life." Angel said as she walked towards me and put her hands on my shoulder. "So what do you boys say? Can I marry your dad and be your mom officially?" "You mean the three most important people in yours and dads life?" Dakota asked and walked over and hugged Angel. "My baby sister is in there." Cobie walked over to Angel and kissed her stomach. "Baby Jade" "I'm sorry mommy. You are my mom now. I love you." " I love you more Kota!" Tears came to my eyes watching Angel with my sons, with our sons. "Let's eat now guys." After a while of eating Dakota asked something that I never thought I would hear from a young kid. "Mama who's walking with you down the aisle?" " umm well son we're going to have two weddings. One with everyone and this one with just us, so tomorrow no one will. You boys will be up front with me waiting for her." I told him a little confused on why he was asking. "Can me and Cobie walk mama down?" Before I could say anything Angel answered. "I would be honored if my sons gave me away." It was settled.
