You
You've been with the Chapman's for about 3 months now. You love your job. Beth says the office has never been this neat or organized before. You've been seeing Leland for about 2 months now. You're pretty sure the family knows but no one really says anything. You're at the office and see the boys talking and Dog looks at you. He tells the boys to hold on a second and goes into Beth's office. " Leland can you please come here." As he walks past your desk and smiles and winks at you. Tim and Duane Lee come over to your desk and listen. "no, no, no not going to happen. Absolutely not. Im going for a walk." Leland says as he walks out of Beth's office. He almost walked into Baby Lyssa. " Hey whats going on?" she asks. " Come on." Leland says as he grabs your hand. "Hey Leland I have work to do. Le-Le whats going on?" you ask as he walks out the door. He sits on the wall by the church. " hey baby whats the matter?" you ask. " hey, hey look at me." You say as you pick up his head. "Whats the matter?" as you kiss him the side of the neck and nibble on his ear. "Theres a problem with the guy were going after today. He knows everyone in the office." " ok so call Sonny up." " no Angel dad wants to use you as bate." " oh" you say and sit down next to him. He turns to you and says "babygirl say no. Tell them you can't do it. Don't do it. Please, please don't do it." "Baby lets go back and see what he has to say ok?" you can tell he doesnt like that. You pull him up to you and kiss him and hold him as tight as you can. As he's holding you he tells you what he always tells you "Babe I'm right here." You guys walk back to the office. "Son are you ok?" Leland gives a quick nod. He's holding your hand and he's leg is shaking. " Ok relax. Hey Le-Le its ok." Dog sits down and talks to you. All he wants you to do is go to a public place to meet the guy, he'll have Beth call him and tell him where to meet you and have you drive your car there etc, etc. "ok I'll do it" "you sure you want to do this Angel?" Beth asks. "hey you need the help. You guys have helped so I need to return the favor." With that Leland walks out the back door. " I'll go get him, he'll be ok" you say as you walk out the door. " hey babe whats the matter?" " Angel I don't want you to do this." "Leland I trust you. I trust you with my life, now I know you that you wouldn't let anything happen to me right?" " You know I wouldn't anything happen to my babygirl." Well get up here you, pushed him against his truck and kissed him. "Ok babe you need to go back in. I'll be in a second. alright?" You decided to have a smoke and paced a little bit. "Hey Angel are you ok? I mean are you sure you want to do this?" Tim is walking towards you. "Yea Im sure. Why do you ask?" "umm you're out here and you're shaking a bit. Here." He hands you a water. " Yea I'm fine. Lets go back in before dad gets mad." You say. You get to the door and turn towards to Tim. " I meant Dog." You both laugh. "Alright here we go. Beth is going to call this guy and hopefully he'll agree to meet you somewhere." Dog says. After about a half hour Beth has the guy agreeing to meet you at a Taco Bell about twenty minutes away and your meeting the guy in 45 minutes. Beth takes you into her office to go over real quick how she wants you to act and things like that. "Wow I'm happy you decided to wear that today." She laughs and tell you to relax the boys are all there. You look down at what your wearing and your wearing a pair of heels, tighter jeans then you would normally, and a t-shirt. You walk at to the office. " Hey Angel do you have a tank top on under your shirt?" Duane Lee asks as they all suit up. " yea why?" " take your shirt off." Leland looks at him " why?" hes still a little angry. "cuz the guy will be more likely to come out if he sees more skin. And wear your hair down." You look at Leland and Beth whos looking at Leland. "Hes right Leland. Go ahead honey." The boys are all suited up and heading for the trucks and heading to your car. Leland comes over to you and kisses you real quick and says " I'm right here." And with that he's off. Dog calls your phone and makes sure you know where youre going and you know what youre doing. You say yes and before you know it your there. You look around and the boys are in place and you can see them. You see a huge guy coming towards you. " Hey sexy, you Angel?" " yea bra I'm Angel and you are?" "I'm David but people call me D. Well aren't you cute." " K so basically I need you to fill out a couple things." You tuck your hair behind your ear which is the signal that you've got the right guy. "Hey how about after I'm done with this shit right here me and you go somewhere? This your car?" " It sure is D. Yea maybe we can do that." You put your hair up to signal that hes almost done filling out the paperwork. All the guys are coming out of the trucks and walking towards him when David moves closer to you. "So I'm sure you have to have a man, but I'm thinking you should be with me." " Freeze you mother-fucker." Dog says. " buddy your under arrest for bail jumping." Tim says as they pull him up and search him. Leland is holding him. The guy turns you again and says "so when I get out, you want to go out?" You couldnt even answer because Leland answers for you. " bra sorry but she cant do that shes with me." " Dude your one lucky bastard that girl is fine." " Yea I know." David is in truck with Tim, Dog and Leland. Beth and Duane Lee are standing with you. "You did really good. We're proud of you sugar." Beth says. " thanks mom" you say, " I'm sorry I didnt mean to call you that" "It's fine if thats what you want to call me you can." "Ok hey I'm hungry those tacos are sounding good. You guys want tacos for lunch?" " I do! I do!" Duane Lee says " I'll page the guys and ask them." So he does and the guys all say yes. " Ok so why don't you two go back the office and I'll be right there." "Ok. Are you ok honey?" " yea fine." A half hour you walked in to the office with food. "I think we should have Angel go on more bounties with us." Tim says "ummm no I think not. She's mine." Leland says. You shake your head, laugh and go back to your desk. "So I guess its out in the open now?" Duane Lee asked. "What is?" you asked. "You two!" Duane Lee pretty much yelled "Yea she's mine." Leland said as he winked and smiled at you. The rest of the day was filled with paperwork. " Alright its quitting time." Dog comes out of Beth's office. "Everyone coming back to the house?" Beth asks. Yeses came from everyone. " Good because we have things to discuss." Everyone kind of looks at each other. "Alright well see everyone back home then." Leland says. " hey where are you going?" you ask him. " We have to go somewhere real quick." "alright but where?" " It's a surprise babygirl." He says and smiles at you.
